Coming from Chios I'm very happy to see the old Kampos Luxury Residences being revived and used as hotels. The Mouzaliko was special in a sense that the new owners, Mr Dimitris and Mrs Suzie maintained the traditional orchards and provided breakfast based on what they had from their garden (for example biological Chian tomatoes and freshly squeezed citrus juices) and what they made themselves (tyropitari, apple pie, cakes, loukoumades with mastic). The room we reserved was for four people, was very spacious, well-equipped, quiet and we didn't feel that anything was missing. If you didn't feel like doing anything, staying at the hotel premises was always a good option, as they were very pretty and well kept. Highly recommended accommodation!

Excellent choice for your stay on the island of Chios and specifically in the area of Kampos.
We visited this particular accommodation with my sister for the first time and I have to say that these are very careful guesthouses with very nice and well-kept courtyard to sit down to take your breakfast or relax your afternoon.
Of course everything starts with the people and the couple who have the accommodation are really very friendly and polite making your stay in Mouzaliko even better. They will track you for your move to the island, for places and shops you must visit...!
Choose it and you will remember me...!
* Although you can book it and from the booking I would tell you to call them in person and book the room you want...

An old mansion right in the Kampos area, close to the city and the airport. While the traditional structure has been retained within the high walls it has beem extensively renovated and offers all the amenities needed, including a good interned access. It's in the middle of a fragrant orange grove. The owners a refluent in French and English and they offer a personalised service and breakfast. For us, it was the perfect place to relax.

Very pleasant, timeless stay in Suzy and Dimitri's flowered patio. Comfortable room with tasteful decor in keeping with the historic charm of Campos. And what about the homemade breakfasts prepared by Suzy with produce from the garden: a classic squeezed orange juice, Quebec-style “golden bread”, eggs to order, homemade tangerine jam...The everything served with kindness in an idyllic setting. I recommend without moderation!

The first place that comes to mind when you think of Chios is Campos with its mansions, houses and citrus fruits. In this unique place of natural and architectural beauty is located the Musaliko Hotel, a refined renovated stone mansion that frames a floral courtyard. What characterizes it is the cleanliness and hospitality of Mr. Dimitri and Ms. Souzi, the amazing breakfast of local products and homemade recipes, authenticity and simplicity. We highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

It was fantastic to stay in this magical place surrounded by nature and with attention to the smallest details. The beautiful family room, everything tidy and clean. A fabulous place to experience during the day and evening... I wouldn't have wanted to leave!

The title related to the behaviour of the host which made me very unhappy .
She was very impolite to us.
I will give you two examples:
The first one is during the breakfast, When I went to the kitchen to get a second cup of tea she said ''second cup is with extra money, what if everybody drinks so much tea or coffee!''
The kind of her speech upset me .I felt I was a child reproached by his teacher.
This was the first shock but not the biggest one;
Second one was before the check out, She asked me to bring the towels, because she wanted to check them ''conditionally''
How could a host do this to a visitor.
I was shocked but I did. I gave them the towels.
She checked them one by one ,One of them was stainy and asked me what stain it is...
It was a terrible moment.
I felt an interrogationing guilty. I felt insulted. I was angry.
I didn't mentione anything about those to my wife and child. We paid the bill and left immidiately.
Actually, this was our second visit at Mouzaliko and the first one was quite good.

Visiting the island of Chios I could not imagine the unique experience I would feel in CAMPOS. All senses are trigered in a paradise of orange and lemon trees that constitute a spectacular landscape. This natural paradise is supplemented by the human hand, through the architectural masterpieces of the 'Archontika" (the greek name for the big houses in Campos). Mouzaliko is such an "archontiko". So, staying there you get all the experience of living in a big traditional house of Campos. Fantastic garden with the unique "maganopigado" and the cistern where water was collected for irrigating the citrus trees. All the rooms have traditional architectural influences and are nicely decorated. To this wonderful atmosphere is added the big hospitality and kindness of the owners Dimitris and his Canadian wife Susy. Family runned hotel with family made fantastic traditional breakfasts. As a conclusion I strongly suggest to everybody who wants to visit Chios to stay in Campos. Is a unique place and can be the origin of all excursions. The capital (Chora) is only 4 Km long and nearby are a lot of beaches (like the cosmopolitan Karfas). And if someone choses Campos for staying I believe "Mouzaliko" is the best choice. Economic and the same time "rich", quiet but with all the todays comforts and above all with a lot of kindness and humanity from the family of the owners. Best value for money!!

We are a family with 2 young children and we stayed at the hotel for 8 nights.
Generally it was ok but it wasn't what we expected from an excellent rated hotel. The room was spacious but being on the ground floor was noisy. The mattresses were really bad. Breakfast was home made but the variety was really small.
Also we think they weren't so tolerant with young children being noisy some time.
We overall believe it has the ability to be improved.
