Coming from Chios I'm very happy to see the old Kampos Luxury Residences being revived and used as hotels. The Mouzaliko was special in a sense that the new owners, Mr Dimitris and Mrs Suzie maintained the traditional orchards and provided breakfast based on what they had from their garden (for example biological Chian tomatoes and freshly squeezed citrus juices) and what they made themselves (tyropitari, apple pie, cakes, loukoumades with mastic). The room we reserved was for four people, was very spacious, well-equipped, quiet and we didn't feel that anything was missing. If you didn't feel like doing anything, staying at the hotel premises was always a good option, as they were very pretty and well kept. Highly recommended accommodation!

lovely small property in beautiful garden setting. Welcoming owners, Suzie and Dimitris, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Located in quiet area of island, car hire definitely recommended, approximately 15 minute walk to village to closest tavernas, small mini market, local bus stop.

The Mouzaliko is a very beautiful hotel, surrounded by splendid landscapes and located in the historically and architecturally rich area of Kampos, which is about 10 minutes away from Chios city by car. Suzie and Dimi, the owners of the hotel, as well as their two daugthers are very welcoming and friendly. They offer delicious breakfast which can be enjoyed in their quiet and gorgeous courtyard. I highly recommend this place for a stay on the island of Chios.

It’s difficult to fault this beautiful cottage hotel. The setting is lush and plentiful, with trees of orange, lemon, olive and raspberries in harvest. The freshest orange juices and lemonades were extracted every morning, and the chicken coop provided a reliable egg supply. The cottage is lovingly kept in tip-top shape by owners Suzi and Dimitri. They were happy to spend time chitchatting with us and helping us with any requests. They have some spacious family rooms that fitted my family of 4, and also double and triple rooms. Wi-Fi is reliable. Location-wise, Mouzaliko is about 15-20min south of Chios town by car. A bus also swings by a nearby road about hourly for Chios town, though you’d have to be familiar with the route to know where to wait. Else head to Thimiana to catch the bus. Renting an automatic car is an affordable alternative. Suzi arranged a small car for us at Eur30/day. Karfas beach is a mere 5-10min by car, or a 2-3km of walking if you have legs for it.…

We stayed there for 8 nights. The place is amazing, very relaxing and the host Dimitris and Suzie very welcoming and friendly, always there to make sure you are having a great time. Food was amazing and fruits were freshly picked from the trees in the orchard. Looking forward to going back there.

Really lovely little hotel in a quiet street just a few kilometres from the main Town of Chios. Beautiful area to explore on foot, the beach is a 20 minute walk away, there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away and the taxis are reasonable and reliable. We used both the city and long distance buses to get round the south of the island. The rooms in the hotel were very traditional, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with fresh, home made pastries most mornings and fresh produce from the gardens and orchard. We also ate dinner at the hotel for a few nights again the food was home cooked and very nice. Dimitris cooked the fish to perfection on the BBQ if you get the chance to try so don't miss it. This is a family run hotel and the whole family are involved in keeping up the very high standards. Just one or two things to remember, the photos appear to show a pool, this is not the case, it is an irrigation pool for watering the orchards. If staying for more than a few days you might want to hire a car so you can get to see the north of the island where buses are less frequent. Book direct it often proves to be cheaper, we did not do this and had to pay for breakfast which is included if you book direct. Would highly recommend this hotel.…

Kampos is a very wonderful area in Chios and the Hotel Mouzaliko is a very quiet and nice guest -house. The rooms are big and clean and the landscape is a small corner in paradise. The owners are very kind and helpfull. They offer you a big variety of local sweets, cheese, marmalades for breakfast. A real wonderful place for rest and enjoy the beautiful orange garden.

We stayed at Mouzaliko in March enjoying a beautiful room and a beautiful garden. It was great to taste oranges and mandarins just from the trees. The owner was very kind to help us with the neighborhood and prepared a very nice breakfast. Will be back hopefully soon!

Hospitality (xenia) is the power point of Dimitris, Suzzy and his children in their small paradise in the middle of famous Kambos of Chios island, near the cost of Asia Minor. Perfect breacfast, aromatic garden, clean and comfortable rooms... I recommend you all go and stay there!
