Stayed on a cold January night and could not have been more comfortable. The inn is a short walk to downtown South Bend, and despite the cold weather I had a quick stroll to the Fiddler's Hearth. The inn has a pantry with snacks that's available all night. Room was comfortable. Best part of my stay, though, was the very...

This was the first time staying at a B&B in the South Bend area. We were visiting family over the Christmas holiday, and found the experience wonderful on many levels. We stayed in the carriage house, and we're welcomed with a lit Christmas tree and warm cookies....a treat after an 8 hour drive. Owners Alice and Tom were kind hosts...

The Oliver Inn was excellent. We stayed in South Bend for my sister's wedding and the location was convenient to start with. Tom and Alice are great hosts. They were attentive to our needs, everything was tidy and comfortable. The food for breakfast each morning was wonderful! I would definitely stay again

I've stayed at several B&B's now...and the breakfast and rooms were over the top! Tom and Alice were the perfect hosts and every thing that could have been thought of to make anyone's stay here a first-class experience had been thought of and put into place! I can't say enough about The Oliver Inn...and I'll absolutely be back and will...

We've stayed here several times and every time is terrific. This last trip we stayed in the carriage house which is removed from the main house but every bit as charming. The breakfasts are always delicious and the welcome they give my family is heartwarming. Amazing place run by amazing people.

Exquisite old home. The decor, all the finishing touches were terrific. We loved the little kitchen/pantry area where the hosts kept freshly baked goods and various drinks for the guests to enjoy whenever you felt the urge. The following morning breakfast we family style in the dining room; the food was excellent and prepared as people came down. The bed...

As soon as we arrived we were told that we could upgrade our room at no charge, which turned out to be great with a whirlpool tub. Everything was very nice and clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast good. The other B&B I stayed would not allow you into a kitchen area, but The Oliver Inn let you partake...

We loved Oliver Inn and will stay again the next time we're in South Bend. The hosts, Alice and Tom, made our stay so pleasant--and they are delightful! Food and atmosphere were great, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Studebaker Museum. Loved seeing the collection of vehicles from Pres Lincoln's carriage to mid-20th century cars. CM

I had booked a local hotel in South bend but,on a last minute hunch I cancelled the reservation and instead, stayed at the Oliver Inn with my husband and our three daughters. My husband tells me that this was one of my better decisions! The house has an olde worlde grandeur which the owners,Alice and Tom lovingly preserve. The rooms are...
