We were staying in a villa in a neighbouring village and went twice with six friends to this very nice hotel for dinner. Both times we all had the more expensive prix fixe diner (35 euros) which was first rate, permutating three starters, three mains and three desserts, all delicious. The service could not have been better, even when we...

Aurignac is a fascinating little medieval gem. The architecture is well preserved and still inhabited. The Hotel St Laurans is part of this amazing history with its internal walls clearly exhibiting the half timber construction techniques of centuries ago. Our suite of rooms comprised a sitting room with a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, hand basin and wc, two double...

I stayed at this hotel in August for 4 nights while attending a family wedding nearby. In all there were 7 of us in 4 rooms. The hotel itself is typically French in a quiet town. It's run by a lovely couple who were both so friendly and helpful. All our rooms were spotlessly clean, a bit basic, and if...

We stayed here for 2 nights because of a wedding in the vicinity. We where absolutely not dissapointed it was very nice. The hotel is run by two dutch owners who have renovated the building in it's historical state. Some ancient features where fully restored and you can feel the history troughout the building. The whole place has an authentic...

We stayed at this small hotel run by a Dutch couple for 1 night, but we wanted to stay longer. Aurignac is a small bastide village off the usual tourist route. It's a true village where daily life goes on as normal, and nobody pays much attention to the rare tourist or two. The hotel is in a 200-year old...

A Dutch couple have nicely renovated/restored and converted an old four-storey building next to the town hall into a pretty chic hotel. The restaurant and bar on the ground floor is lively with a mix of both locals and expats and serves good food. We stayed in a 'suite' on the fourth floor for four nights. It was spacious and...

We arrived in Hotel Saint Laurans after a long day in Lourdes. Starving hungry and gone 9pm with no booking. Greeted by Anna who informed us that they were now closed but she said she'd ask if the kitchen could find us something to eat. She reappeared 2 mins later to inform us that we could have some lamb and...

We stopped here for lunch and had a good feeling right from the start. The owner is multi lingual, Dutch/English/French, at least those were the languages we heard him use during our meal. The hotel/restaurant is set in the square of a lovely quiet town which was not crawling with tourists. The owner was attentive and efficient. We had the...

A Hotel like Saint-Laurans is one of those joys of travelling, a beautiful surprise. Needing an overnight stop on the way from Provence to San Sebastián, we decided to find a Hotel in the small town of Aurignac, in the Haute Garrone region, on the outskirts of the the Pyrenees. The Hotel Saint-Laurans is a small hotel with limited rooms....
