The raj Ayurveda is one of the best health spots I had visited here several time get several information regarding it but it does not provide various facilities due to a reason not to providing the technology well if you want to know a bit more about technology and the stuff then you can also visit the gatheric.com to get the info regarding the new technologies.
The Raj is a great place to have the Pancha Karma Ayurvedic health treatment. I have had Pancha Karma treatments in 3 other places, including in India, and this is by far the most thorough and supportive experience that I have had. The facility is lovely and extemely comfortable, the food is very good, and the staff is amazing.
Myself and my business partner needed somewhere to stay in Fairfield And and were advised to say at the raj. We arrived after a long drive from Chicago at 1am. We turned into Jasmine Drive a beautiful treelined welcome to lights appearing at the end of the tunnel. The keys were awaiting us and we arrived to a stunning basic warm cosy room. I had a shower and went to sleep. I woke up to realise I was in the most laid back place in the planet with people walking around in robes and slippers. People with badges saying “In Silence”. I went to breakfast and couldn’t believe what was on offer, the worlds healthiest breakfast. The staff are so friendly, the setting is amazing and I would stay there again in a heart beat.
If you're looking for a truly authentic ayurvedic experience, this is your destination. You will be wonderfully cared for - healthy food, healing treatments in a special setting. The evening lectures are terrific and the treatment technicians are excellent.
The Raj is nationally recognized as one of the first and best of traditional Ayervedic Health Resorts in North America. For over three decades The Raj has provided first class Ayervedic heath regimens to anyone seeking in-depth ancient, traditional, preventive Heath Care in a clean and powerful venue.
Two days of treatments was too much for me. Should have done just one day. There are many better ways to spa. I came home, and husband asked me why I smell like pizza. I told him because I was marinated in oils and herbs for two days!
Stay for as many days as you can afford. I wish I'd stayed longer, especially since it's not easy to get there from where I live. You are there to just unwind and renew, so put your electronics in the safe while you're there and really let your mind, body and spirit reset! I loved every minute of it.
If you want time out and regenerated, this may your place. It is very isolated , surrounded by farms, so you have to occupy yourself with your own self. I participated in their yoga classes, which are given 2 times a day. None of the other guests took advantage of this aspect. The food was great and healthy. In the evening they have lectures. If you do their detox program you will find that this is vey expensive and a big commitment . Some of the recommendation I just could not follow because the herbal preparations just tasted so bad that i could not take them.
A hidden 'Utopia' in a small town in Iowa. I have visited many of the best spas but this is the best. In December, I was at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter. They have a very nice spa there. In November, The Bachelor Gulch spa near Vail, Co was also excellent. The Raj is different and I felt, a much better experience. Last year when my children wanted to send me to Miraval Spa in Arizona for my birthday, I chose to go to The Raj instead. Try The Raj and you will understand why that was my choice. You will leave with the intention of returning again very soon. Rooms are priced well around a hundred per night. The Ayurvedic Spa is more costly, but well worth it. The food is all organic vegetarian and very good! Interesting lectures are offered in the evenings. Transcendental Meditation is offered there if one chooses it. Amtrak from Chicago plus a 30 min. drive. Private planes can land five minutes away at Fairfield Airport. Fly commercial to Burlington IA or Cedar Rapids Airport which is about an hour drive. Private drivers will pick you up. Ask The Raj for names.…
Wonderful spa and place to re-center. Very relaxing and welcoming. Food was very good and healthy. My daughter has life threatening food allergies and they were great about accommodating (lunch and dinner).
