What a gem! £99 per night includes bubbly on arrival and £20 voucher per person towards a la carte. DOG FRIENDLY and spotless clean. My two pooches received a pack of treats each, a blanket and a bowl! An absolute delight in the middle of New Forest. I am looking forward to coming back

Booking was easy and efficient. Being allergic to dogs it was reassuring to find they are limited to the ground floor and we were given a 1st floor room - a good and practical compromise for all. The hotel are well equipped to cater for cyclists and golfers, with secure storage with lockers and bike racking - well thought out....

We popped in on the off chance for lunch as we'd heard good reports. The Bell is in a lovely setting and has obviously been recently updated, it's lovely inside and has lots of character. However, whilst the food was well presented, the portions were not large and side orders expensive. I had chicken and ham Kiev but it was...

We visited the Bell, Sunday 23 April with our son and his Boxer dog. We were given a warm welcome and the Sunday lunch/dessert menu was divine! My husband and returned on Saturday 29 April with our Mastiff (his first visit to a pub at 4 years old). Our dog was made a complete fuss of by the staff, giving...

Nestled in the New Forest with wild ponies and donkeys ambling past, this Inn sits on the edge of a golf course and offers good dining and accommodation. Comfortable environment if a little austere. Be prepared to carry your own luggage upstairs as no Porter or lifts!

We had our wedding at the Bell Inn and are very happy with our decision. Mark (The general manager) was happy to go with everything we wanted. He gave some advice on seating plans and answered every question we threw at him. The Bell is a fantastic, rustic venue that people would be impressed without any changes. Saying that though,...

Lovely New Forest Inn. Perfect location within easy reach of all local attractions. We stayed for a one night anniversary celebration on a DDB package booked directly with the hotel. Worth every penny. The restaurant is lovely, beautifully decorated, gorgeous food and friendly service. The reception staff are great, very welcoming and on arrival, included in our package, we received...

Dear Pinnacle08, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at our 18th-century Inn! We agree it's a bit of a hidden gem in the New Forest and, as you say, so convenient for many local attractions. We hope you're come and visit us again soon, this time with afternoon tea! :-) Kind regards Sam

Absolutely first rate four night stay. All staff were fantastic. The food was excellent. To be more specific the cooked breakfast I had on the first morning was pretty much perfect. The evening meals we had were all 8 out of 10 or better. Great location for exploring the New Forest and we ventured further afield to Sandbanks, which was...
