This was a convenient option for us as we were staying with another couple. The efficiency unit was spacious with three bedrooms, front room, dining, kitchen and small bath. All the conveniences of home. The front balcony was a bit dilapidated, but fun for sitting out and drinking wine. Unfortunately the unit behind us had a dog and was scratching...

As luck would have it, we strolled past the cabin at Little Switzerland Inn just as the owner, Becky, was driving by. She rolled down her window and asked, "Are you looking for accommodations?" One thing led to another and the next thing we knew we were being given a tour of her authentic log cabin, complete with fireplace and...

Our family of four which includes my husband and I and our 14 and 11 year old kids stayed two nights in the cabin. Becky is so easy to deal with and made us feel very comfortable. The cabin was so much fun. There was every comfort of home and plenty of space for us. They have done and amazing...

Not necessarily a fancy B&B but a good choice in McGregor. I understand that the little cabin is neat but was booked so we ended up in one of the efficiency style units. Plenty comfortable for our overnight stay during a motorcycling trip with dining you can walk to as opposed to Prairie Du Chien across the river with hotels...

My wife and I stayed two nights in the Chalet Suite. The hosts were attentive to our needs and very friendly (though the host was uber-taciturn).The room was clean and comfortable, but be aware that it is pretty dark inside, mostly due to the fact that the Chalet Suite is hard against the bluff and behind the main house. The...

I recently stayed here on a girl's weekend. We stayed in The Rob Roy apartment. There was plenty of space, but it felt like grandma's house full of knick knacks. We also rented the adjoining apartment which was better, but I ended up sleeping on an uncomfortable twin mattress in a small loft. We looked at the cabin rental for...

A couple of friends and I had the pleasure of spending the night in the cabin portion of this B&B last summer. We enjoyed every minute of it! The owners are so kind and accommodating and provided a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The cabin can comfortably house 4-6 people, though I wouldn't recommend it for small children. It's a...
