Beautiful old farmhouse, beautifully decorated and furnished, situated in beautiful countryside. Friendly welcome. We were asked if we liked dogs (we do), and only after we had replied "yes" was a door opened to allow Zennor, the owner's friendly and well-behaved dog, to meet us. We felt this was typical of the thoughtful approach to everything shown by owners Liz...

This is the best B & B we have ever stayed in. A lovely Devon cream tea on arrival, freshly baked cake every day in our room, clean comfortable quality furnishings throughout, fantastic choice, quality and quantity of breakfast and a genuine friendliness from all the staff. We stayed in the Willow room for 3 nights.

We stayed Saturday after attending Newton Abbott Racecourse. It's in the most amazing location, with owners who are friendly, and with a building that's simply stunning. We could find no fault with anything in the room , with some lovely touches like homemade Lemon Drizzle cake being left for us in the room. Breakfast was really nice and expertly cooked...
