I have always wanted to check this place out after reading about it and seeing Ghost Adventurers do a visit and I had the opportunity on my drive to Colorado from Florida. The group before me just left so I was the only one on the tour. The tour guide and the owner were there and they were the nicest...

Still an unsolved cold case full of twists and turns that led to a horrifically tragic end. Our guide was informative, felt some cold spots, have one photo that shows what appears to be a face in one of the windows, but did not capture any orbs. Good place for any paranormal buffs!!

Lots of fun. They tour guide gives you a little talk over the key points of the history of the home. Then you get to take a self guided tour. The home is kept in fairly goid condition. Some of the items in the home are not from the period, but overall the place is kept up & the staff...

Our 2nd visit, 9/4/15, was even more active than the 1st (11/15/13). My team, GIC, on both visits, we're extremely respectful and chose to ignore the "evil" that many have said is in the house. We instead talked with the Moore Family and the Stillinger girls and had fantastic results. We feel that Sara Moore, Herman Moore and Lena Stillinger...

I had wanted to visit this house for years and finally got the chance while we were traveling. The cost of admission was 10 dollars a head which I thought was a fair price. We sat in the living room with our tour guide for 20-25 minutes. We discussed the entire case, got to ask as many questions as we...

As a true crime fanatic, I centered an entire mini-trip (about a six-hour drive) around visiting the Villisca Axe Murder House. Because it was so close, I stayed two nights in Omaha as well. The positives: the house is restored very simply and true to the time period of the crime. I really appreciated that while we were given an...

My wife saw a program on tv that described some of the scariest places to visit and ranked the axe murder house number 1. We don't live all that far away so we thought we visit and if things looked good, we might spend the night. The gentleman that told the group about the house he seemed to tell the...

We visited in September 2013. My mom had been begging my husband and I to go with her to see where the fabled ax murders took place over a hundred years ago. We had a wonderful tour guide. She sat us down in the living room and told us all about the murder. She didn't sensationalize what had happened there,...

My husband and I toured the ax murder house in June 2013. We had a great visit with a wonderful lady who was a great story teller and gave the history of the house. My husband took our daughter 5/2014 and it was a horrible experience. The gentlemen who gave the tour simply unlocked the door and told them there...

the house was great along with the history telling, the rooms were clean but not wheelchair accessible to the upstairs bedroom my dad carried me up and down the steps. the owner needs to install an elevator so the handicapped can get upstairs without having their dad carry them and plus for handicapped amateur Paranormal investigators like myself an elevator...
