The rooms are very attractively and comfortably appointed. Breakfast is fresh and tasty. As others have reiterated, the proprietors are welcoming and gracious hosts. The location, to us, was a little disappointing in that rather than being in a more picturesque part of the Flint Hills, it is a stereotypical flatlands area. If you're passing throough, however, it can be...

Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Lovely Arts & Crafts home was built by the owners Grandfather, and lovingly updated. Food is made with love and passion; yum. Highly recommend for proximity to several nearby communities with many attractions and historic sites

We stayed at the Windmill Inn one night while passing through the area. The Windmill Inn is only a few miles south of town and I-70 but it is one of the most peaceful areas you can stay. It is an old farmhouse that has been restored with beautiful woodwork. There are three choices of rooms and each has it's...

We had a fantastic wedding ceremony on the front porch! It was a perfect Kansas night on the wrap around porch of the Inn. Tim was funny and eager to make our guests feel right at home. Debs food was very yummy and we can't wait to enjoy many anniversaries at the Windmill Inn. This is a Kansas treasure!

Located on a farm, this bed and breakfast offers a relaxing family friendly getaway. The owners have a kind heart and genuinely care about their customer. The food was wonderful. Hot tub was an extra treat. We will definitely return. They have a gift of making you feel at home, while you have the luxury of being on vacation.

Having stayed at this B&B several years ago, we were looking forward to returning to this lovely 100 yr. old prairie house in the Flint Hills of Kansas. We were very disappointed in the less than welcoming atmosphere that greeted us. We were made to feel like interlopers instead of guests, wondering whether the innkeepers were still as eager to...

College friends had a very pleasant stay at the Windmill Inn. Tim was an excellent host. Breakfast was yummy. We enjoyed the Castle Room having its own sitting area and of course the beautiful porch. A very peaceful place for friends to visit with each other!

We spent three nights at the Windmill Inn and our time there was magical. Deb and Tim were the ultimate hosts, the food exquisite, and the time spent on the porch and staring out to the plains or starts was rejuvenating. Each morning we were greeted with smiles, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and breakfasts I still dream about. We...

This was my wife and my self's first experience at a bed and breakfast and we had an excellent experience. The house was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. I grew up on a farm in North Dakota and it really took me back with how quiet it was being able to get away from the rush of everyday life. Tim &...

From the time we met Tim and Deb to our departure, the stay was a pleasure. The house is well maintained, clean, beds comfortable and breakfast gourmet and delicious. I would highly recommend this B and B.
