Competitive price and right on the lagoon for sunrise over palm trees. The rooms are big with aircon but the real treat is the staff. HUGE free breakfast, local food, fresh fruits and loads of personal attention. We left two days ago and miss it already. We go back today for more of that personal attention we want on holiday....

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days, To begin with I read a few bad reviews for Guraidhoo islands and also spoke to a traveler who had experienced some unpleasantness on the island, with a local hotel/guesthouse. So let me start by saying that RipTide is not a 3* hotel not even close to it, but it’s a guest...

Guesthouse for a reasonable price -good value for money. From the entrance you can see Kandooma Resort. The biggest advantage is the owner -Ibbu. Very friendly, open and kind person. He has his own boat and organizes trips. We will be happy to visit again with children.

We spent a few days in December 2014. It was a great vacation. Owner IBU is helpful and friendly guy. We spent a couple of evenings enjoying the maledivian food- fresh fish and coconuts. New and clean rooms with air conditioning acting very well. Every day we drove With Ibu to the nearby islands- very reasonable prices. it was a...

There were 2 of us staying in this hotel in December 2014. The hotel is very nice, clean and the price to quality ratio is very attractive. Rooms are very comfortable, air conditioned with nice bathroom. What is even more important Ibbu (the owner) and his team are great people. We were amazed by their hospitality and the atmosphere they...

If you fly to the Maldives for beach, well, the local beach in Guraidhoo, simply put, is a nightmare. Disappointing is an understatement. It will turn your preconceived notions of the Maldives upside down. We didn't siwm once there. It's impossible to stroll or look along the beach without getting depressed or hurt. Apart from the empty plastic bottles and...

Much as I welcome the fact that the inhabited islands of the Maldives are now open to independent, non-resort tourists and that the locals can have a piece of the tourism cake, the guesthouses on those islands are running the risk of pricing themselves out of the market. As guesthouses go, the Riptide Vacation Inn on the island of Guraidhoo...

We were 3 person staying in Rip Tide Vacation Inn at the beginning of January. We were amazed by hospitality of the guest house. As it was very difficult to find much informations about Guardiahoo I will try to cover not only hotel but also attractions there. As far as conditions are concerned they were good: new air-con, solid building,...
