We arrived after 5 p.m. and were unable to make much sense of the map. The sites they showed were really hard to find, with no useful signs. After an hour or so of driving around, we found a spot right by the lake.It was a beautiful oasis after a drive through the prairie, yet the campsite obviously had not...

Scott State Park is a real gem. There is a beautiful, 100 acre fishing lake surrounded by remarkable cliffs within the 1,020 acre park. Lots of campground space for both primitive and utility camping. The Campground Host was very helpful explaining the self pay system and advised us to pay one night at a time as there was no refund...

The beauty of this park was not expected in the flat lands of Kansas. It located in a "valley" with lush cottonwood trees, a beautiful lake and camping sites for everyone from tent to full hookups. Our only gripe is the bath facilities that need serious maintenance but at least they were reasonably clean. It's a shame since the rest...
