Built in 2003 on a little elevation overlooking the beach and the karsts of Phang Nga Bay, the Passe-Temps with it 8 traditional and comfortable rooms, its mature garden and stunning views is quite simply unique in the province. It offers everything one expects from a good range hotel, and still it feels very much like a family house. Where else will you see the guests moving the table of the restaurant to continue their aperitive talking and dine together ? The staff is caring without being obsequious, the cook is great, and the owners, having been living here for 18 years are always available to help organize your day and make your stay unforgetable.

Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had the chance to stay here for 3 nights, and the ambiance was incredibly serene. Before anything else, let me talk about the accommodation first. It's a Thai-style wooden bungalow with very soft beds and pillows. The moment I entered the air-conditioned room, it was refreshingly cool. The most remarkable and praiseworthy aspect of this place is their commitment to using environmentally friendly products. I didn't see a single piece of plastic. Firstly, they provide glass water bottles instead of plastic ones, and they even have stainless steel water flasks to keep drinks cold for guests to carry around. Another noticeable feature was the waste bins. Instead of small plastic containers, they use woven wicker baskets that blend perfectly with the interior decor. Not to mention, the laundry service uses cloth baskets, showing their attention to detail and dedication to the environment. It's truly commendable.

Choose to travel here alone to relax. Recharge myself before going back to work. The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing, shady, quiet, very good service and complete facilities, beautiful, suitable for relaxation. Recommended here if you are looking for somewhere to escape....

This is the third time I return to Le Passe Temps. Over the 8 years I lived in Thailand I have been in other places in Ao Nang and Railay - but nothing compares to this place. Every bungalow is a piece of art with beautiful antique furniture. The beach is quiet and offers incredible sunset views. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel managers are from France but speak a flawless Thai and have the best advice on excursions and experiences. A Jewel of a place!

Although we didn’t stay here my daughter and I stumbled upon this beautiful resort while cycling. Olivier and team were kind enough to welcome us with open arms to enjoy their resort and beach. We had lunch there 2 days and ate directly on the beach overlooking the water and islands. The food was delicious. This resort has a beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the water along with lovely gardens and landscaping all around. I hope to return here one day as a resort guest! We were certainly made to feel like guests during out time there. Thank you!

How nice of you! Thank you so much! Your daughter and yourself are so polite and discreet, how could we not be happy to have you here, guets or not !? Still, we surely hope to see you back in Krabi, and this time we will do our best to have you staying with us :)

This is our fourth time staying at this resort and we decided to share this slice of paradise with our niece from the US. We know the area well so in four days we took the long tail boat trip island hopping, elephant sanctuary and sunsets on the viewing deck. We have to admit, we were pampered by the staff and felt prescious. Until next time, au revoir!

We were only passing through to the restaurant, and my goodness the property here is amazing. We had a beautiful view in the restaurant, but the main area, the swimming pool etc were so well apportioned. So impressed by the gracious and welcoming staff - we even received complimentary Christmas Sangria. We looked up availability and very nearly changed the last 2 nights of our holiday to stay here.

We just spent a delightful and restful two days at Le Passe-Temps. We live in Krabi so it was just a little getaway to experience a different area, very quite and natural. The food was excellent and the service superb, and the owners make you feel like you are in their home not just a resort. We highly recommend it for any length of stay if you come to Krabi, and of course you should.

It was a fantastic stay in a secret location. No tourists, just nature and some participants of a yoga retreats on the beach. We enjoyed sunsets every day on the beach with their signature cocktails. Food was delicious (ask for the green curry and the seafood platter!!!). And they have REAL coffee ! And chocolate mousse ! Our room was very cosy. Very comfortable beds. The staff is sooo nice. They always try to please you even if they do not speak English for most of them (the manager explained that they want to hire only people from the villages around). We had a few excursions around, but i recommend their massages, and boat trips. Five stars !

We were on a family holiday in Khao Thong for 2 weeks with my husband, our 2 kids, my dad and his girlfriend. We contacted Olivier via email to make a reservation for dinner. They sent through the menu and price for that night and we arranged a time for someone to pick us up. Arriving there was breath taking, the setting, the atmosphere and then that view! simply stunning! The kitchen normally doesn't open until 7.30 but they suggested serving our dinner earlier as we had 2 little kids with us. We had a cocktail on the beach while gazing at the sunset with our feet in the warm sea water, followed by a lovely dinner served family style. Portions were on the smaller side but they give many dishes so we never went home hungry. Everyone who worked there was so lovely, spoke English and French very well and so accomodating. We went back once more for dinner and one morning for paddle boarding. Will definitely consider this resort to stay at next time we come to Krabi!!!
