Great place to visit for a quiet escape. Beautiful 1850's era home loaded with period furnishings. But also has modern conveniences including private bathrooms and satellite TV. Home overlooks Lake Barkley off the front and back decks. The area is quiet in the winter but teaming with activity in and around the Land Between the Lakes recreation area. Breakfast served...

The home is secluded on a road that is not on the GPS. It is very attractive at the first glance, but we were surprised to see a prison on the way to the inn. The home has lovely porches with a view of the lake. The two story home has lovely landscaping. The breakfast has a lovely presentation, but...

My husband and I just returned from an anniversary trip to the Smokey Mountains. To break up our trip home from TN, we decided to spend the night at the Maple Hill Bed and Breakfast. It is definitely off the beaten path but it is well worth the short drive off of the interstate. The house was built in the...

Selected the location as it was in the general direction of our travels and its exterior looks. We were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome and a tour of the property. You could tell she was proud of it. We chose the Tapestry suite and other than water pressure, it was all we could have desired. Breakfast was nice,...

This was a perfect find to our journey around the lake. A gorgeous home with many rooms available. Each room is meticulously kept clean and tastefully decorated. Our room overlooked the lake which was beautiful. The food for breakfast was wonderful and they even made a special gluten free waffle for me. We will plan to rerun someday.

We spent one night in the Bayside Room, and enjoyed every second. We had a beautiful view of Lake Barkley from the floor to ceiling windows. It was a little chilly, but we walked down the hill to the lake and watched the birds on the lake from our Adirondack chairs. Very peaceful! Our bed was very comfortable, the shower...

With gorgeous views of the lake, this is the place to relax. Beautiful 1850 home with comfy rooms and yummy breakfast. All very laid back with so much to do in the area, such as exploring the land between the lakes. I stayed in the Rose room with private balcony.

The Maple Hill B & B is hands down one of the best places to stay in the Lake Barkley area of Kentucky. The house is beautiful, Sherri has done an excellent job of maintaining the charm of the time period while ensuring modern comforts create a welcoming experience for her guests. We had a wonderful weekend away. The Rose...

Very good host who has really useful information on the local area which helped us a lot. There is nothing bad to say about this place its perfection. We had a wonderful time at Maple Hill. The house (built in 1850) is beautifully restored and Sherri, the owner, was very informative about the area. Breakfasts were very good with an elegant presentation -- salt cellars, knife rests, etc. We even had a wonderful cupcake waiting in our room, and coffee packets to brew.
