Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Pleasantly surprised at the customer service, quality of the rooms and especially the food. We were In the area for a family bereavement and chose the Corbett Arms for the 'wake'. The hotel laid on superg spread for us, with everyone who attended, remarking on quality and amount of food provided. On the... More

We stayed here for just one night sadly for a family funeral. We found the staff helpful and friendly, food good and bedrooms spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was full on a Wednesday evening which must say something for it. The wake was held in the conservatory which was lovely and light. I would have preferred breakfast to have been... Just back from another fantastic stay at the Corbet Arms at Uffington Shrewsbury .We were given room 6 again which is our favourite because of its 6 ft four poster bed which is so comfortable that we are usually a bit late down for breakfast. The room is so quite as is overlooks the bowling green and the river at... More

I visited friends with my wife on Sunday and were taken to the Corbet Arms for the sunday roast. The food including a starter of pate was excellent and the roast turkey cooked to perfection with associated vegetables. The food was served quickly and efficiently and the level of service and detail was first class. We would be there every... More

We stayed at Corbet Arms for one night on our journey to Holyhead. We arrived fairly late on a weekday evening and were a little knackered. We received a very friendly & efficient welcome - just what we needed. The place was easy to find, and there was plenty of parking. A member of staff showed us to our room... More

We stayed one night in the Family Room #3, Great space, very clean, very modern and very comfortable. Great advantage having the kitchenette and dinning facility for a morning breakfast. Also ate a lovely meal from the bar menu on the sunny back terrace.

Stayed overnight on Saturday 6th August, room 6, four post bed, overlooking the River Severn. The room and the bathroom were both exceptionally clean, tea and coffee making facilities and a large flat screen tv, bed very comfy. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our choices, along with a nice bottle of well chilled pino... More

A nice country pub with very good accommodation and food. The staff are very friendly and we received a nice welcome on arrival. We were put in Room 8 which is on the top floor at the front of the building (beware if you have mobility problems because there is no lift). I had booked a superior room and, although,... More

Stayed here as we were attending a 50th birthday party nearby on the Saturday evening. After arriving we sat in the garden and enjoyed not only the sunshine but the beer - important for my real ale loving partner! The room was very well furnished (if a little snug!) but ideal for our needs. Breakfast the next morning was cooked... More

I took my dad, who is particularly fussy when it comes to roasts, for one at this place last Sunday. Wow!! What a great roast they serve! The portions were very filling and the meat was proper meat, none of that pre-sliced in gravy rubbish that a lot of places serve these days. Good venue, great food and excellent value... More
