Stayed here for a couple of nights on a business trip. We were greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the home which was old and great! You get to park in a secure locked parking area right by the inn and are given a remote control for the gate. We stayed in the basement room which was really...

Our weekend trip to Louisville was perfect! Mary and Tom Austin are the perfect hosts. We were welcomed and oriented upon arrival. Our room was super comfy and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and the company was good. Enjoyed chatting with our hosts. Loved being walking distance to the downtown area--especially since we came for Thunder Over Louisville and were...

On a recent trip to Louisville we stayed at Austin's Inn Place. Mary and Tom Austin were very gracious hosts. Our room on the second floor was large with a king size bed which was very comfortable, The full hot breakfast served each morning was wonderful and served on china in the tradition of a bygone era. The owners went...

We love staying in B&Bs. Our trip to Kentucky (and the Bourbon Trail) started in Louisville. Finding Austin's Inn was easy through TripAdvisor. As others have mentioned, all rooms are upstairs, but that's a function of the historic buildings. Our room was so comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Austin's is very convenient to downtown...

This B & B was a nice place to stay. The hosts were very accommodating and catered to a dietary restriction of my husband's. The breakfast was very, very good. Mary was generous with her time in giving advice on restaurants and scenic directions. The 3rd floor rooms are not for the faint hearted. The steps are steep. There is...

Had reservations here but the room was up a flight of stairs. While Mary was very gracious, we did not stay there due to the stairs. The. Neighborhood did not feel very safe either. The rooms were dark and appointed with antiques.

Traveling for business, yet hoping to experience the 'culture of the area', we sought to find a B&B. Through a recommendation from another B&B owner that had a full house, he suggested we visit with hosts Tom & Mary at Austin's Inn Place B&B. We couldn't have been more pleased. With attention to detail, every room, nook, & cranny of...

Our group of 12 (6 couples) stayed at Austin's this past weekend. We were a bit uncertain as we approached it -- there were newer projects across the street and the highway behind it. There is wrought iron fencing around both builds that comprise the inn, and an electric security gate. There is plenty of parking on the premesis. Both...

Home was very old fashioned with the decor. Tom & Mary were the best when it came to hosting. Breakfast was fabulous and the dining area very old school Will definitely try to stay again when in Louisville

My wife and I were in Louisville for a business conference which was held at the Brown. The walk was only 5 blocks through a safe neighbourhood. The meals were great, best I have had at any B and B's. Tom and Mary were very good hosts and advised us on places to eat and visit. The room was comfortable...
