Samuel Culbertson Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful place. The owner is great.We had a wonderful stay, the only problem we encountered was the air conditioning. We stayed on the third floor and it was hot the whole night and never cooled down.

Beautiful Mansion with so much history. We felt like royalty staying in the President's Room which was once the master bedroom. Three floors of exquisite antiques, were ours to enjoy. Every room had a uniquely styled fireplace. Rudy, the owner, and Jason, his assistant, were always available to answer our questions about the history of the home and are very...

This is the place to stay if you're interested in a little history and a lot of character. The building is impressive, and the staff is kind and accommodating. The Samuel Culbertson Mansion B&B is a lovingly-recreated Victorian mansion, filled to the brim with antique furniture, artwork, and other tchotchkes, making you feel like you're guests of some turn-of-the-century Louisville magnate. Wakened out of a sound sleep, I thought there'd been an earthquake. Then, perhaps, that there had been a gas pipe explosion. FInally, realized that jets were taking off overhead.
