Barbara and I had a delightful stay in The Duncan Suite. It is big, airy, comfortable and gorgeous. We loved it. The beds were super comfy. The sitting areas were bright and welcoming. The suite has a nice little fridge in it, allowing us to have some dinner in our suite after our massages.

I can't say enough good things about the Columbine! The house is stunning, and it's tastefully decorated with an eclectic mix of mementos from the owners' travels—everything has a story, and innkeeper Rich is a master at telling their stories! The neighborhood (Old Louisville) is beautiful ... a great setting for walking to dinner or to the nearby university. I... More

My sister & I stayed at Columbine while visiting with family in the area. Not only is this convenient, but it's a delightful place to lodge...and to dine. This was my second stay. Comfortable bed, delicious full breakfasts & a knowledgable host. What more could you ask for? We visited the new art museum which is within walking distance. And... More

I was booked into the Columbine when I went to Louisville on a recent trip. The Columbine is a delightful B&B located in Old Louisville, a wonderful old neighborhood replete with beautiful Victorian houses of which the Columbine is one. Rich and Bob are great hosts. Very friendly, they know a lot about the neighborhood. If you are looking for... More

One of the most beautiful, well kept B&B we have stayed. The hosts were entertaining and delightful. Everything was so clean. You could tell what the place meant to them on the arrival tour of the home. The bathroom was down hall but everyone does have their own bathroom. Our bathroom had a tub with claw feet and a toilet... More

We had a terrific stay at the Columbine in the Magnolia Suite. Very quiet and peaceful accommodation. The Columbine has a very tranquil setting in the back with an elaborate fountain and pond setting. The landscaping was beautiful and well- maintained. This was a perfect location near the University of Louisville campus. The owners were extremely helpful with any questions... More

My recent stay at Columbine Bed & Breakfast was the nicest I've ever had. I don't usually stay at B&B's, but this trip was arranged by a colleague. I was very fortunate. Rich was, by far, the best B&B host I've ever encountered. Extremely nice and interesting, without being pushy at all. Our fellow guest was a charming professor, in... More

I had a nice stay in this well-taken care of house, run by a helpful and informative owner who even cooked warm breakfast to order on weekends. Location is great -- near to the university and to a great café!
