My husband and I returned to Madisonville for a family emergency, again I will only stay with Shirley Thomas at one of her Bed and Breakfast. The Hammack-Moore House was exquisite, quite and relaxing. There was a train whistle on occasion but I felt it added to the charm. We will stay there again. We both loved it.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast, for I had never been to one. We absolutely loved our stay at the house. I just loved all the details and the history of the house. The owners did a fabulous job of restoring the home. I cannot say enough...

This place was gorgeous! The night my husband and I stayed we were the only people there and we spent at least an hour walking around the house exploring every little detail. Such a charming place. The owner Shirley met us there and was very warm and friendly and told us all about the town including the different places we...

i had booked 3 nights at this B & B, starting tonight. Two days ago I got an email from Shirley, asking me to phone when we were within an hour to let her know when to greet us. I emailed back that since we are from Canada we do not have cell phones that work in the USA, but...

We used this home for business and we were very impressed. We did not stay overnight but would if we didn't live local! This place is a beautiful, historical home ran by a super sweet woman. If you're going to stay in Madisonville, you must stay here!

I enjoyed everything about it. Stepping back in time but with the luxury of air conditioning and a flat screen tv. There is a laundry room and full kitchen with pots, pans and utencils. Also a fridge with an ice maker. Ended up staying two weeks and am now in their ruby lodge.

From start to finish we were so impressed and our expectations were surpassed. We were celebrating our 5th anniversary and scouting out all 3 B&B's for our family reunion in July. All 3 are amazing in their own right. We would be thrilled to stay at any of them. The Hammock-Moore House is super convenient with it's downtown location, but...

I love the feel of this home--it's beautiful but comfortable, not too extravagant. And the good price made it an easy choice over the chain hotel options I had when traveling through the area on business. I was able to walk a few blocks to dinner and music at The Crowded House, and enjoyed the breakfast provided, which was from...

The Hammack-Moore was my first B&B which I have ever stayed. The house is beautiful, located just minutes of walking distance to several excellent resturants of differt styles to fit all needs and desires. In the morning I walked to a cute coffee shop in the town, literally steps from the Hammack home, and had breakfast which was included in...

“We stayed in the Victorian. Gorgeous. The upstairs rooms are all beautiful too. You really can't go wrong. The stairscases to the upstairs would not be easy for the elderly or people with arthritis to navigate.”
