I loved the area, beautiful country! The Lodge is nice, a bit dated but well kept and in a remote place, very peaceful here. Refrigerators in rooms would be nice, more vending would be nice. Upon checking in the front desk had been moved to an other room due to fire, so you went to check in then had to...

This was a nice place and had a wonderful view from our balcony. The room didn't have a fridge or microwave which was a bummer. Also they had a fire a while back so no gift shop or kitchen.. It's taking them a lil time to get it fixed.. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful area of Kentucky, nice large rooms with a balcony. Ours overlooked the woods, private felt like a treehouse. We did not eat here as the restaurant was temporarily moved to the convention center. They seemed to take pride and good care of this property

Went here for a family reunion over this past weekend October 14,2016. First off we were supposed to have four cabins together and they gave one of the cabins away. My mother set this all up and spoke with the Manager Christy several times to arrange things. When we got there Christy was not there and the staff on duty...

We enjoy staying at State Parks and Lodges. This one could use some updating but the beds were very comfortable. We didn't use the pool or restaurant as we got in late and had to leave early. We were hoping to be placed closer to our friends and we ended up being pretty far apart but I think that is...

I enjoyed the park for the hiking, views of the lake, proximity to outstanding golf and the theater but the cabin we stayed in was gross. There was mold in the bathroom grouting, part of the screen for the porch had holes, trash from the previous stay was not picked up and raccoons got into the trash and pooped. The...

Lodge: Needs updated all around! The pool and rooms were a little disappointment. The pool needs updated and cleaned. Pool and hanging out at the lodge was our first day -- it was OK.. good enough for myself, my husband, and daughter (5yrs old). The Lake -- 2nd day... we took a 2 hour boat ride and swim around the...

So,so,sad... The buffet used to be wonderful. The food I ate tonight was not fit for a pig. The service was slow but passable. Maybe they were just understaffed. We waited 15 min at the cash register to pay but, nobody showed up. Finally, just left money there.

We spent 5 days at Jenny Wiley state resort. We had a 2 bedroom cottage which was not super clean and was very smelly at our entrance. We cut the AC and it was better. Il was nice to be in our own cottage with our dog. You can have access to the pool and it was enjoyable in the...

Jenny Wiley State Resort is close to where my sister lives so we have stayed here several times. We always ask for a room that is located just to the right of the entrance so that we can walk out the back door and you are then only a few steps to the water's edge. We have enjoyed the food...
