Decided at last minute for a night away in the campervan, so didnt want to go to far from home. Saw this site and booked for the night. Absolutely stunning wee campsite, cracking views over the firth of forth and set in the middle of fields containing livestock. Hard standing pitch with electric hook up and own water tap. Toilets and showers are clean . Will def be back soon, next time in a tent as the field for the tents gives even better views iver the forth
Stayed in a tent field with water and electric some pitches don't have electric. This site is very very basic owners don't clean the showers a little bit more on them later. Owners are never seen once they give you a pitch. Facilities one enclosed shower and toilet any set in a pod . Washing up Facilities sink and draining board. In an old shipping container unisex toilet and two showers £1.00 for 10 minutes again not cleaned. Owners I took photos time stamped so you can't say you clean. Owners you will get bad reviews unless you improve your site and stop getting money for old rope. 15 minutes in Leven .
First visit but not last, if you like the sound of sheep, cows, horses and birdsong this is the place for you. The welcome and facilities were also superb, spotless toilets and shower ( there is more than one) and glorious views over the forth.
Lovely little site. Excellent location for exploring Kingdom of Fife . Site is well maintained with fabulous views over Forth of Forth. Toilets & showers spotless. Third visit & we will be back again.
Just back from 1 night on this site, amazing views , very peaceful and well set out . Having read the other reviews I agree that the facilities are very clean , and I agree with the owner that the proportion of showers and loos is acceptable for the size of the site , my only grumble was we had to wait in a queue to wash the dishes , another washing up sink would be of benefit. Will most definately be back to this site though and would highly recommend to others .
View is wonderful but very disappointed with the facilities. Fully prepared for basic facilities however the set up of the shower and toilets was not well planned. I only found two cubicles and the toilet and shower were in the same cubicle which meant if someone was having a shower, there was no access to a toilet and queue of people waiting. I considered the cost of the tent pitch (£24) was excessive and not value for money.
If you are wanting peace and quite this could be the place for you, toilet block is very clean. Pitch is spacious and the grass was well maintained I have 2 kids and they were running about in the fresh air, shame there is no swing park. But i suppose that brings a lot of noise to the park. Bring your welly's as the grass is long, beautiful to be fair, but when wet terrible. We had no dry shoes left. But that’s Scotland’s weather for you.
Only stayed couple of days. We had hard standing pitch with electric hook up and water. Site was really well maintained, met the owner who was really pleasant and gave me some advice of where to walk the dogs. Looks and washing facilities are in portable buildings. They were spotless and had everything you would need. Would happily return. One thing to mention and just to be aware no onsite shop so have everything you need or be prepared to go get it.
Space and VIEWS!!!!!!! What a great spot to camp. Electric hook up, hardstanding and soft pitches, plenty of space to spread out. Friendly welcome and great amenities make this a great base for exploring. The kids loved it!
Have been here a few times and would thoroughly recommend a visit. The setting is lovely, surrounded by fields and farm animals, also high up and overlooks the sea. The facilities are 1st Class, toilets and showers immaculate and kept like this daily if not hourly. Owners of the site friendly and helpful. Grounds kept neat and tidy. We'll definitely be back again ☺
