My wife and I stayed at The Fairfax House for our anniversary, and it was delightful. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the upstairs porch with a glass of wine and it was so peaceful, we didn't want to leave. Cheryl, the proprietor, was as nice as anyone could hope for and she made the best breakfast...

This was our third trip to Fairfax. It must be good if we continue to return. Cheryl, our host does a wonderful job. She is solicitous of our needs, keeps the place tidy and prepares a wonderful breakfast. The home is proximate to Cajun country making it a good central point for visiting those related attractions. Whether taking nearby field...

We drove from Houston and checked in Friday night, service was excellent since arriving. Breakfast was very good, my wife who doesn't like blueberry pie, loved the breakfast pie with our eggs Benedict. Our Inn keeper was very helpful and made sure we were doing fine while in the house. The trees and the views are very beautiful. Everything is...

Beautiful old house on great grounds surrounded by huge old oak trees. The room we had was large and comfortable with a modern bathroom attached. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast of fresh fruit, english muffin, egg, hollandaise sauce, and a blueberry breakfast pie was delicious. We were there late on a Saturday so didn't get to see much...

beautiful home and property with massive oak trees. Fantastic porches with rocking chairs and swing. No real amenities--not even bottled water or cookies set out for our welcome. Bathrooms are modern--appeared to have been recently renovated. There are cats and at least one was allowed inside the house (in case you are allergic). Breakfast was good but humble. scrambled eggs,...

Visited this location for a bridal shower and wedding. Nice lawn and the scenery is also nice. The parking for the location is almost nonexistent unless you park at the apartments that's separated by bamboo. Interior is nicely put together.

Had another fantastic stay at Fairfax House! Cheryl and 2 welcome cats, Pebbles & Missy, were there to greet us! Stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor and had the most comfortable bed. Breakfast each day was wonderful! When we returned home, we woke up the next morning and my husband asked what was Cheryl making for breakfast? Lots...

We so enjoyed staying at this lovely home walking distance from Franklin's city center. Our greeter Cheryl welcomed us warmly and took care of our every need. With a walking tour map in hand, we saw the beauty of the city and ventured through the Peace Memorial along the bayou. We were in room 2. The shower was full force...

We stayed in an upstairs room at the Fairfax House for 4 nights. Cheryl, the inn keeper makes this beautiful home such a relaxing place to be. A wonderful and different breakfast was served each morning. We chose to dine on the screened back porch where we could listen to the trickle of the fountain feature and watch a flock...

This is a beautiful place. Cheryl is a great innkeeper, she really made us feel welcomed. The breakfast each day was different and a great way to start the day. We stayed in one of the upstairs room and it was really nice to just walk out onto the balcony and sit on the porch swing. Highly recommend this place.
