My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Lodge as we were attending a wedding in a place called Ethel. We really liked the Lodge. Room was a great size and it was very useful to have the small kitchenette area (although if I were the owner I would add a couple of hotplates). The room was clean and... More

Golf course worthwhile, nice pro shop, 1960s style motel rooms, awful restaurant with teenage waitresses lacking basic serving skills. If you like a lot of frozen bitter-tasting over fried catfish then eat here.

Went on Memorial Day and enjoyed the pool and a round of golf. The rooms were clean though the bathroom felt a little dated. The room did have a kitchenette so we were able to do sandwiches for the kids and not have to go to a restaurant. Would regimen for a relaxed weekend and to enjoy the local cuisine.

This out of the way lodge offers suites along a wide veranda where a variety of birds serenade you morning, noon and evening. The restaurant, situated above the broad creek, is just across the driving range from your room. And, the property is very near the John James Audubon Stare Park where the artist drew many of his famous orinthological... More

We stayed for two nights on business. The room was large and spacious but had an extreme odor that they were trying to cover up. The blinds in the front windows and doors all the way across were not fully functional, crooked and had no way to open or close. There were black stains on the bed spread, fair mattress... More

We stayed for a golf outing with husbands and wives. The area is lovely, but also a little remote (St. Francisville is a 15 to 20 minute drive). Be prepared to bring your necessities with you! All the rooms are mini suites with a bedroom and living room separated by a mini kitchen and private bath. Each suite is decorated... More

The lodge is situated on the golf course, with a beautiful view. Each room has chairs/rockers on a patio or balcony depending on which floor you are on. The room was very roomy, but we were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. The floors were sticky and there was dirt/hair on floors. The shower did not drain well at all,... More

The Lodge at the Bluffs is a wonderful place to stay for one night or several. It is about 6 miles off of the main highway (but on paved roads). The staff is great! I stayed there almost a month for work and they offer a long-term discount on the price. Each unit has a fair sized living room, bathroom,... More

After staying at lessor places in town (St Francisville), I was thrilled to find this golf course community! I am not a golfer, but a business traveler- but found this area nice, quiet, and reasonably priced! As you walk into each suite, there is a "living room" complete with nice flat screen tv, small dining table and chairs, a couch... More

Took my golfing husband here for the weekend on his birthday. The room was a very charming suite. The bed was very comfortable. We ate at the Clubhouse and the food was priced just right and it was really good. It was a quiet relaxing weekend that we thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to going back in the near future.
