Immaculate rooms, breakfast and service. Very friendly even to a heathen Englishman. Great attention to detail (brolly, iron, dressing gown in room). You will be well looked after if you stay here.

I stayed at Priory Lodge with my family for a couple of nights while in Edinburgh for my graduation. The room was excellent and very well equipped (it even had an iron board + iron, and fridge), and there was an ample selection of breakfast to choose from. We felt welcomed and the owners were very helpful suggesting us where...

Everything was of the very highest standard, from cleanliness of the premises, parking, freindliness of Calmyn and Gordon, mine hosts, to the superb breakfasts. My wife was very impressed with the fact that EVERYTHING seemed to be catered totally for the guests, with all those important little details that really make a stay here a delight. If you've tried the...

The Lamb's are a great couple, obviously caring about their guest house very much and succeeding in giving great value for money with a personal touch you just don't get in the big 'faceless national lodge' type of place. Nothing was too much trouble for them. If you want a great location, with easy access to all the local places...

Additional amenities like power adaptors, & umbrellas for guests were available and easily accessed. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable, breakfast was great. Not only the room but also the breakfast room and kitchen were spotless. The tasty and well cooked Scottish breakfast kept us going until late in the day. We could park the motorbike out of sight from the street in the private parking. The bus that stops just in front of the lodge took us into Edingburgh in 20 minutes....

Calmyn & Gordon Lamb are the perfect hosts for this delightful B&B located just outside the busy city of Edinburgh. This property well deserves its 4-star rating and is the best solution to avoid the traffic and parking difficulties frequently encountered in the city. The number 43 bus stops right out front and goes directly to the center of Edinburgh...

We stayed at the Priory lodge for a weekend in April. The accomodation is in two houses, one custom made for guests and the other where the owners live. We were in the custom built lodge, which has 6? bedrooms. We were given our choice of rooms and chose the family one. The rooms are all en-suite, very clean and...

We stayed at Priory Lodge for 3 nights and the accommodation, food and service was just perfect. On top of that, the cheap and frequent bus service into Edinburgh runs past the Lodge and we also found Sth Queensferry a lovely place for eating, drinking and admiring the rail bridge. A repeat visit is on the cards. Don Reeved
