If you can afford it, then you should stay here. The hotel is luxurious, the owners attentive, and the location within walking distance of downtown and the Harbour. Twice as expensive as the rest and well worth it. Breakfast served on the terrace was sublime. While you are in town, make sure to take a bay cruise on the Timberwind,...

What do you get when you cross a luxury hotel with a quaint B&B? The Belfast Bay Inn. I have stayed at many overnight establishments and this has been the best experience yet. Eddie and Judy are phenomenal hosts and it is obvious that this Inn is a labor of love. We stayed in rooms 103 and 104 which are...

My wife planned our two day stay and I must confess to being stunned when I walked into the room. It was beyond anything I had expected or ever experienced. I have been to fine Swiss, German, and French hotels, but this Inn is beyond those visits. Others have waxed poetic on this site about the Belfast Inn and the...

We arrived at the inn after a 40 mile ride on our tandem bike. The owners were incredibly accommodating to all our needs - to store the bike, tell us where the bike shop was, get ice cream, find a place for dinner, etc. Our room was huge and beautiful and had everything we needed but our favorite part was...

Our rooms had a cozy feeling. Just beautiful. The morning breakfast was amazing and I would come back just for the duck pancakes. I appreciate Judy sharing her secret to the scrambled eggs and my husband enjoyed talking boxing with Ed. Perfect location to walk and just enjoy a quiet life. Simple and pampered a perfect getaway.

We discovered this inn by accident but what a wonderful surprise. Everything about the Belfast Bay Inn excels: the room was beautiful and large and amazingly well furnished; the breakfasts in the courtyard were innovative, fresh, delicious; the hosts are delightful people who made you feel at home. Location is great for walking all of downtown Belfast. We are headed...

This is a must stop - the accommodations are wonderful and hosts provide a wonderful breakfast and excellent local recommendations. The rooms are immaculate and state of art. Wireless worked perfectly. This is definitely 5+ place to stay and when return will stay longer.

A genuinely special experience. A lovely boutique hotel nestled in charming city of Belfast, Maine overlooking the waterfront. The Hemmingsens are the most delightful innkeepers with an incredible eye for every detail. A bountiful breakfast was served in the back hidden garden. We won't wait for another anniversary to celebrate a night at our favorite hotel.
