My one week visit at this resort was far better than expected. Lovely, caring people, top-notch food, superb beach, abundance of activities for everyone. Spa is glam, there is always someone accompanying you throughout the hydrotherapy experience to ensure you are okay. It

Our 5 day stay was the most relaxing trip ever! From check in (no deposit on cr card like someone mentioned) to check out...it was fabulous. Our Bldg #24 concierge, Roberto, has a memory like none other! He called us by name every time he saw us and helped in any way he could!

My wife and I first visited Maroma 20 years ago, staying at what is now the Belmond Maroma. What we loved was the wonderful powdery white sand and crystal clear waters. Last week we went with our extended family to Secrets. While our stay at Secrets was EXCELLENT, I could

Well, it is a pricey option but you get what you pay for. Accommodations, food, and beverage were all pretty high end. Swim up room was great. We had never taken that option before and it will be a requirement for us in the future. Pros Food and beverage were very upscale. We

No! I actually did not bring my own hair dryer for once and I was sorry. I would definitely bring my own next time!

They had most everything we asked for and worked to satisfy the guests including expresso martinis and great fresh lime margs if you asked and they had mezcal The vodkas we’re premium choices. They did not have Aperol ....You can always get the house wine which was okay....as others suggested the bottled wine had a charge.

This may sound crazy, but we were told that the thermostat is somehow affected by the sliding doors - automatically. Meaning, if the doors are open, the AC will turn off. If the doors are closed, the AC will run constantly. It seemed true enough for us because we did not touch the thermostat at any time. We cooled the room by closing the patio doors. When it go too hot, we opened them and AC shut off... When the AC was running, you could hear the blowing but it was not too loud for us with the TV on as well. Hope this helps.

They have seats in the water near the bar and in other places of the pool. They also offer complimentary floats for anyone to use. So most people don’t bring floats— but of course you could if you can.
