Back again at Williams Pond Lodge in early October 2016. Eleven nights. The same wonderful breakfasts I have come to expect and enjoy, the same great conversations with owner David and other guests, the same peace and quiet of being in the woods and on the pond, the same beautiful night skies, and the same great sleep at night. It...

The room in the new cabin was very nice, cute furnishings, fresh and clean. Plenty dark for sleeping as it is off the grid, so no random lights on the property. Sat at the picnic table and watched the sunset over the lake, as the moon rose. Very peaceful spot. Kayaks available if you want to paddle around. Quiet place....

My husband and I spent three nights there. When we arrived, David was not there but had given us instructions. Walked into our lovely room, and found a tin of still warm shortbread! It was yummy. David is absolutely charming, and a funny guy to boot...he has a pun for every conversation. We enjoyed three terrific breakfasts and three evenings...

We stayed with David for 4 nights. He is a great host. This is clearly a value place in Maine high season. It is an easy drive to Acadia national park, and many other attractions nearby. He makes great breakfasts and knows all the secrets to making your Maine trip fantastic. This was our second stay with him and we...

David welcomed us warmly on a rainy dark night. He engaged us and our children in great conversation, cooked us tasty food from the local farmers market, baked delicious treats and was generous with them. Our fondest memory is floating peacefully on William Pond on rafts that he purchased and inflated for all 6 of us. The bedding and accommodations...

We stayed at Williamspondlodge this past week. Room spotless. Slept with the windows open and could hear the call of the loons at dawn. David a great breakfast maker especially the popovers and the German pancakes. Made our trip enjoyable by helping us map our day. Saw many beautiful Maine sights that we would have missed without the assistance of...

We stayed last month at David Weeda's peaceful retreat at the edge of Williams Pond and enjoyed it immensely! David is a wonderful host and a generous cook. He not only serves an excellent breakfast, but also a delicious dessert that awaits you after you make the trip back up the gravel road to the lodge at the end of...

Unquestionably the most comfortable B&B experience ever. David just gets everything right, from the soap and lots of places to hang things to the totally peaceful and lovely setting. Our room was spotless. We didn't have time to go searching for wonderful Maine experiences, but we didn't have to - we found it at the Lodge. Breakfasts were excellent; David...

This is a peaceful retreat infused with a passion for people, food, the surrounding area and the earth. Hosts David and Dominic are the ultimate inn keepers, sharing their love of all the above with guests who are lucky enough to find them. Tucked away at the end of a dirt road on the edge of a beautiful pond, this...

A very isolated location that is an easy drive to Acadia and other attractions but an experience of solitude that is refreshing and rewarding.
