This family run campground was a perfect place for us to start our RVing experience. Quiet, pet friendly, clean, spacious campsites with fire rings, WiFi, and cable(important as we followed the Olympics) they really shone when we were unable to successfully reconnect our fifth wheel to our truck. Jeff easily spent 2-3 hours trouble shooting with us. Because of him...

I traveled to central Maine with three children in mid-July 2015 for a week of camping and college visits. Canaan Maine is a fast three hours from Boston on I-95. The Maine turnpike is fast and convenient. The campground is not too far from the exit. Central Maine is is sparsely populated so be aware before your travel. The campground...

We will not ever return to the Canaan KOA. We camped there over the Columbus Day weekend - the Halloween weekend. We have done this with a large group (about 10 families) the past several years. In the previous years, this has been a very busy weekend, full of activities for the kids. New owners (Jeff and Melanie Peterson) took...

We stayed for 4 days and this is a GREAT campground! Roomy site, VERY clean, good wifi and cable. Had deluge of rain one whole day and everything stayed fine. We used this as a "base camp" a did some great sightseeing of the area. Would definitely stay here again!

This is our first trip to Maine and wanted a base camp for a couple of weeks. Jeff and Melanie are excellent, attentive hosts/owners. I highly recommend this campground for a central ME stay. We have a large coach & car hauler. The firewood was reasonably priced. Our space was roomy and more than adequate for our size. Didn't use...

Spent the weekend here with our two boys, ages 5 and 9. The place is spotless, real showers with your own room. All kinds of fun activities for the kids all weekend, the pool was sparkling clean and they had fun in the arcade. We did not go to the café there. Our lot was plenty big and private, right...

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We have noted the concern of the wood and switched to a different vendor and have found our campers are really liking the new bundles. We thank you for bringing it to our attention so we could try and fix the issue. Hope to see you again soon!

Attending a family reunion for the wife in the Belgrade Lakes Region of ME, and couldn't find any campgrounds in the area. We stayed in a pull thru site F1 full hook up, site was nice and level. Staff escorted to our site, and made sure to show locations of hookups. Was unable to use outdoor rug, for fear of...

We had are first stay here last weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The campground was very quiet yet kids were still having fun. We love everything about it here. The owners seem very nice and I enjoy talking with them. It's worth the stay. Coming soon is a K9 Camp for your furry four legged dogs. Hope you enjoy...

We had absolutely no privacy; tiny sites, no picnic table, fire ring not usable - loud speaker announcements. We do not have children and this was definitely not for us; we will not return. The picture in the KOA book was not even of the campground - it was several miles away and of a state park - how deceiving!...
