Great spot for an "island experience." This seasonal inn has been serving the summer crowd in style for generations. Enjoy an afternoon cocktail on the wrap-around porch and imagine a more gracious time gone by. Rooms are spartan and noisy if you're on the backside. Meals are nicely prepared but it's the only game in town so you pay for... More

This is our second time here. Went last year with just 2 in-laws .This time 7 of us went for lunch. Again beautiful setting overlooking harbor and islands and 9 hole golf course. The service was fantastic even though there were quite a few people there having an outing. Almost everyone had lobster roll and lobster bisque. Everyone enjoyed all... More

We are staying on the island all summer, allowing numerous visits to the lovely Chebeague Island Inn. It couldn't be more heartwarming. Whether hot and sunny on the beautiful wicker furnished verandah, snuggling in the great room before the crackling fire in the tall stone fireplace on a chilly snd foggy day, enjoying cocktail several hours everywhere, delighting in breakfast,... We were picked up at the ferry boat. Front desk staff April checked us in quickly and got our bags to our corner room with a view. Room was small but pretty and had everything we needed for a 2-day stay. We loved walking in the area and reading and relaxing and gazing at the sea in the wraparound verandah.... More

The Chebeague Island Inn is the quintessential small but grand old New England hotel. It has a beautiful porch overlooking Casco Bay; superb, personal service, and a great restaurant: it was apparent that many of those at the restaurant had taken come by boat for lunch or dinner. The rooms are very small, simply furnished and not air conditioned (with... More

Beautiful location, easy to get to (compared to some of the other islands, the ferry was convenient and quick), cozy but neat rooms. The staff was divided between those who were professional, helpful, and friendly and those who were clearly seasonal employees who did their best and were very nice but were...perhaps nicest to say, untrained. The food at the... More

From the moment we arrived, this Inn was top notch. A driver picked us up at the ferry and carried our bags to the room. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Sit on the porch and enjoy the view. Sip on a cocktail and then eat a first class dinner in the restaurant. The included breakfast was excellent. Grab a bike... More

The inn, on Chebeague Island, is something out of the 40s and early 50s: big parlor, bigger wrap-around porches, wood walls, ceilings and floors, sink-to-the-bottom easy chairs, magazines, puzzles, and sea air and views. You gotta wanna get here if it's just for lunch or dinner since the island sits out in Casco Bay on the edge of the Atlantic.... More

After several disappointing years I believe the Inn finally has the right food offerings! Deliciously prepared selections with many old favorites updated for today's palate. The staff is attentive and friendly and the view is stunning. It's heart warming to see local island faces patronizing this prized establishment... A good sign. Bravo!

Take the ferry. Go for lunch, or stay for a while. The Inn has great food and great accommodations. It s a step back in time, with all of today's conveniences. The staff are real nice and the service delightful. While we've been many times, we always look forward to and enjoy our visits.

We're so glad you took the ferry out to visit us! The Casco Bay Lines is definitely an amazing attraction if the weather is nice and you have the leisure of time - we're so glad you opted for that! We strive to provide great service and food that matches our fortunate view, so thank you for complimenting us on... More
