Typical of the vacation cottages that were built on the Maine coast years ago. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant for dinner is excellent. You can walk down the road or sit on the lawn or by the beach and be very comfortable. Safe, clean, and picturesque. Only one problem: it gets light very early...

We repeated a tour of Maine in June this year which we had done many years ago. It was delightful to find this Inn was just as idyllic as ever. It was not just the view either. All the staff here are genuinely friendly and this made our visit so special as we had come from the U.K. to celebrate...

The view and food were the best part of the stay. The room was susposed to have been redone recently new paint and rugs. Well maybe they should have check the windows that would not open. It was 50 degrees out and I had to run my a/c, although I was probably better off running the a/c because the windows...

Okay, so this is not the Ritz. But why would you be looking for that here? Ocean Point is a community of people who have been coming for generations and if you're not lucky enough to own a place, the Ocean Point Inn is almost as good. Maybe better if you don't want to worry about property upkeep and taxes!...

It's probably been ten years since we started spending our annual vacations with the staff at OPI, and now consider ourselves regulars. The staff know the family by name and don't run when they see us coming. The inn is a series of buildings offering different amenities. We prefer the full housekeeping suites with kitchens. The Inn has been around...

Stayed here initially 3 days then added 3 more days and then another 3 days after finding this place accidentally last year in September..Perfectly located on the water with gorgeous views and shear peace and quiet. Breakfast and dinner in season which started a day after we left, but that only made us discover the culinary greatness of the whole...

My husband and I stayed here in October as part of a wedding party. This was a wonderful choice! We stayed in a cottage which was cozy, comfortable and private, but just a few steps from the restaurant and the pier. Watched a gorgeous sunset (best I've ever seen...fiery red!) out the restaurant windows during the rehearsal dinner. It was...

We stayed Columbus weekend in the penthouse although the décor was somewhat dated the unit was clean and comfortable. The location is THE BEST! Peaceful, quiet, walking path and magnificent sun sets over the bay. The restaurant was also very good. Only thing was at checkout we were told by the innkeeper that because Maine state tax had gone up...

We loved Ocean Point. We arrived last year in the pouring rain and it rained all weekend, however we loved it. We came back this year and we love it all the more! Ocean Point is a special place that will keep us coming back again and again. The food is wonderful, the location is amazing, the rooms are great,...

We stumbled into this place because we had a coupon in a book from a visitor center in Ohio. We stayed in an economy room in a building from the 1850s. Our economy room turned out to be a 2 bedroom unit that was very comfortable. While the building was old, it had character and we enjoyed our room. However,...

“The room was very cold on the first 3 blanket night, until I wised up the next day and asked at the office desk about heat. ..which I mistakenly presumed did not exist in this summer facility. Once the manager turned the heat on, the room was as cozy as could be. Someone had also left the bathroom window open before our arrival, and I didn't initially notice this source of cold night air.”

“We have stayed in building HH each time. Rooms large but bathrooms a tad on the small side. But who spends much time there! Balcony so delightful overlooking the bay!!! One of the best "classic old guard" experiences!”
