Quite average overall in my opinion. Campsites are fairly close together. We have a 25' tow behind and had full hook up. The site was wooded and close to amenities. I used the laundry facilities (2 washers and 2 dryers). It is close to Freeport and that was a plus.

We stayed here three days in late August in a 26ft camper. Nice campsites, friendly and helpful staff, and a great place for the kids to play. They have an old pool table, air hockey and fooseball inside. Volleyball, a small playground and a pond with paddle boats and a kayak outside, and all is free! It is also very...

Quiet, clean campground. Very friendly staff. Nice size campsites. Could have used a campground map. Close to Freeport shopping. Trail available to walk dogs. HOWEVER, thought it was inappropriate to receive religious materials in the "welcome" package.

We stopped here for a night with our 22 ft trailer. I had made the reservations months ago, and selected a specific site. We arrived on a Saturday (in which the office is closed) and our registration materials were posted on the cork board - they had changed our site without notification. I understand they have the right to do...

Probably the closest Campground/ RV park to Freeport. Campsites are adequate for Big Rigs but you have to contend with narrow roads and a ton of trees. Some sites are 50amp full hookup and fairly long. All in all, a nice quiet place in which to stay.

We arrived July 3rd in time for the festivities in Portland. We were booked until Thursday but ended up extending our trip to Friday before the weekend crowd came in. The campground is tucked in and quiet. We had a tent but booked a trailer site with water and electric for the week. Everyone was very kind and welcoming and...

This camping area is a work in progress. The folks that own it seem to be putting in a number of upgrades to the grounds and the sites themselves, but it is close to a residential neighborhood, so it is likely to remain small. The heavily treed sites are mostly level, with good hookups, but they were not defined very...

This campground is perfect, provided you're on the hunt for what it provides (and what market it's serving). Pros: Very near Freeport (<5 mins from restaurants, stores, etc.) Very, very nice staff Easy access to firewood, ice Cute amenities for kids (playground, boats for the pond, etc.) Well-maintained camp sites Lean-to options are fun Cons: Very small campground Sites are...

I understand that the camping season is a short one and people need to make make hay while the sun shines. However, campground owners need to be reasonable. A two week cancelation policy is simply unreasonable. 48 hours, 72 hours, heck even 5 days but 14 days is simply unreasonable.

We spent two nights tenting at Cedar Haven on vacation. The online booking went smoothly and the campground owner had all our information ready when we arrived the following day. We were given directions to our site and a welcome bag with brochures for the local area. The tent site we stayed on was large, clean and wooded. The area...
