My wife and I spent my birthday weekend in mid-September at Grey Havens. For years we looked for the quintessential inn and have found some good ones. Grey Havens is a great one. Classic old inn but well preserved. Spectacular view. Huge porch. Well kept rooms. Many common areas to hang out. High quality restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Close... More

Grey Havens Inn typifies Maine in it's rustic charm and breathtaking views. Our room, The Sunrise Suite, was comfortably appointed and had a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure that all the guests felt welcomed. Every need was anticipated and addressed. Blue, the restaurant at the Inn was... More

This glorious, old Inn is brimming with charm, simple elegance, and a stunning view. Our first visit was 30 years ago and we, after being fortunate enough to have traveled widely, chose it as the place to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Where else can you see Lobster boats pull up your dinner while your head is still on your pillow?!... More

The Grey Havens Inn overlooks a peaceful harbor with gentle ocean waves, a glorious sunrise, and unbelievable moonlight that shimmers as the tide comes and goes. The luxury that you will find here is in the quietness and the gorgeous view. We have stayed here twice, once in one of the smaller turret rooms and this time in the large... More

This business is an Inn and a restaurant called "Blue". The restaurant is very good. Lovely space, lovely view, nice linens and table settings and they offer cocktails on their porch with a most beautiful view of the bay. The food and service are also very good. We have been coming to this restaurant since they opened and always have... More

We are sorry you found your stay at Grey Havens less than satisfactory. We work tirelessly to ensure all of our guests (whether they stay one night or several) enjoy the ambiance of this historic inn. As opposed to "monk cells" and "sparse", most of our guests enjoy the simple elegance of the rooms which have been carefully decorated to... More

The quintessential Maine Inn right on the water. Very peaceful setting and short drive to state beach. You have to drive if you want to do anything active...but for a couple of relaxing days you can't beat this. The restaurant open only for dinner is very good. Breakfast is a healthy continental breakfast. It's about a 20 minute ride to... More

It doesn't get any better than this. The owners could write a book on how to run an inn. Everything is perfect-the location, the food, the hospitality. My wife actually proclaimed the inn clean..wow, I think that's a first! On our next visit we'll stay in an oceanfront room so we can enjoy the view from our super comfortable bed.

I have been coming to the grey havens for 20 years and have experienced this glorious place with 3 different owners. Dick and Eve do a magnificent job of making the stay calm and peaceful and also lighthearted and fun. It is entirely possible to have a glorious weekend and never leave Georgetown.

When you drive up, you're actually at the back of the inn. We were in the Garden Room, which faces the driveway, is one floor up, and adjacent to the kitchen; although kitchen is on the first level. The room is directly above the dining room. The owners were very welcoming. The views of the ocean are nothing short of... More

We visited restaurant and all four of us enjoyed ribs which were perfectly cooked and delicious. A lovely spot to have a drink and sit out on the deck overlooking the ocean. Service attentive and staff helpful with any questions. A lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.
