My wife and I recently paid a return visit to this lovely inn. It was a frigid January weekend but sunny and perfect for snowshoeing, which we did right out of the inn. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and warm, with tv and wifi - perfect. The innkeepers - Scott and Vince - could not have been more welcoming or...

Maple Hill Farm Inn is a few minutes from Augusta, Maine, in a lovely country setting with long views over the fields and forest. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with modern amenities (room 6 has its own hot tub), and the Inn also has an excellent conference facility attached. Highly recommended if you have business in Augusta, and also...

So when you think business travel who thinks of an Inn, unless that's your only option. Well you should change your paradigm. Located just minutes from Augusta, the state capitol Maple Hill Farms is the perfect place for peace and quiet after a long day of work. It's almost like going home vs. the ubiquitous run of the mill hotel....

I stayed here with my girlfriend over Christmas weekend. It was the perfect spot to retire to after full days with family in Augusta. Vince and Scott are very welcoming. Impressively, Vince took care of everything on Christmas day so housekeeping and other service providers were able to take the day off. He cleaned the room AND served to-order breakfast...

The Maple Hill Farm Inn is a beacon in an area of Maine that doesn't seem to have much in it. It was cozy, warm, and Scott/Vince were so friendly. As a matter of fact, on the day of checkout, they let me hang out in the living room/dining area to do work, while I was waiting for my fiance...

So pleased to find this unique B&B, with such conscious attention to what's good for the environment. My room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the downstairs living areas homey and inviting. I was also surprised that I could afford such a place. I will definitely go back for a longer stay, if I get the chance.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our reviews say it all. Serving the Augusta Maine area, Maple Hill Farm is a small boutique hotel that perfectly combines true eco-consciousness, country serenity, relaxing comfort, and fine amenities. Surrounded by acres of rolling fields and woods, including an active bird feeder and a barn full of llamas and chickens, this is Maine's first certified "Environmental Leader" green lodging establishment with a huge solar electric array plus solar hot water and its own wind turbine. Huge double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, and private decks accentuate some guest rooms. A sauna and outdoor hot tub beckon the guest to truly relax, along with full bar service, a full breakfast cooked to order, and personalized attention. ... more   less
