The Victorian style Harbor Inn was reminiscent of a cozy visit to grandma's house. We stayed two nights in chamber 1, a large antique-filled room featuring a canopy bed with crocheted topper, patchwork quilts and a wood burning fireplace stacked with wood and ready for a quiet evening "at home." All rooms are on either the second or third floors... More

First and foremost, this is an older Inn. Realize that your room may not have a TV or be loaded with amenities, as that is what 'inn life' is all about! We usually don't stay in inns, but this worked out well for us, as we were looking for a two bedroom, and booked late in the season. We stayed... More

Pros: Great location. About 1/2 mile from downtown in one direction and the beach in the other. Friendly staff. Breakfast was varied. Cons: Older B&B that is for sale and in need of maintenance. No amenities in the room. Our bathroom was very small. Extremely limited space for personal items. Bed frame made noise with every move. Price seemed a... More

My fiancé and I decided to travel to Kennebunkport for the first time this summer. We stayed two nights at the Harbor Inn in room four. When we first arrived, we were apprehensive because the building has a very victorian style, which is slightly different than what we were used to. The ambiance is wonderful - great for all age... Our stay at The Harbor Inn had the potential to be just lovely, but it fell short. First, I must say that I was grateful to be accommodated when there was a mixup with our reservation. I originally booked a two night stay and then had to change that to one night. I thought I had made the change within... More

Sadly, Kathy Jones, the Innkeeper for the past 30+ years passed away this summer. Her son, Barry, is now the innkeeper. This was our first trip since Kathy's passing. I have been coming here for nearly 20 years. Kathy was the inn. Her attention to detail and lovely personality was what kept people coming back. We need not have worried.... More

This is the kind of place that you either love, or you don't. My wife and I, perhaps being of a simple New England disposition and a certain age, fall very much into the former category--a category which seems to account for most, if not all, of my fellow reviewers. Harbor Inn is not a large-scale plush resort hotel, like... More

I have been staying at the Harbor Inn for almost 20 years. I was there again in July, 2014. I stayed in the Woodbine Cottage. This is a lovely little place, quiet and sweet. It is large enough for two people. Comes complete with full bath, full kitchen, queen size bed, AC, parking space, patio with gas grille. I believe... More

A wonderful experience in a great location. Within walking distance of downtown shops and Arundel Beach. Owner and staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Delicious breakfast included.

“All the rooms have a different decorative theme, but are lovely. Each have their own bath and AC. All have queen size beds, except one, it has a full. The suite on the third floor has a queen size bed and two twins, a television and sitting area. Across the hall are two rooms with a shared bath. It has an old fashioned clawed bath tub. I have posted many pictures here in the past.”
