Located in the northeast of Maine, this Inn appeared to be newly appointed with comfortable beds, keyless entry (with a room code to enter), and a tile bathroom floor which was heated. Wifi worked well, and the location was very quiet. Very comfortable stay and economically priced too. Also, a nice continental breakfast came with the room.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 3 October 2016

From the outside, the Margaretta looks like a very well kept, average looking mom & pop motel. The soft yellow paint looks new, and everything was clean and spotless. Inside the rooms would have been a surprise had I not seen them on the website. Wow! So nice! Such an upscale modern look! Laminate wood -look floor in room, heated... More

I recently spent the night at the Margaretta Inn on a business trip. Nothing fancy, but I was not disappointed. The room was very clean, had the expected amenities and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was tasty. Distanced from the road, it is quiet.

We stayed two different nights, to and from a trip to Grand Manan Island. You don't always expect a motel to be especially comfortable, but the Margaretta Inn definitely is. The beds are great, all the amenities fine (heated floor in the bathroom!), staff very friendly and helpful. Clean, modern, welcoming. My only complaint is the coffee—we definitely preferred to... Good Motel-style accommodation on the edge of Machais. The room had been recently redecorated and was modern and well equipped. Heated bathroom floor! Good breakfast with proper cutlery, unlike many places. Only adverse comments are a lack of places to put items down in the room and some traffic noise in the evenings. Friendly and helpful staff. .

This is one of the best small hotels I've ever stayed at! The room was just beautiful, big comfortable bed, and the bathroom floors are heated!! Cozy and warm. We were greeted like we were family. The only thing is the air conditioner is noisy as most are when it kicks on and off so we cooled the room down... More

You'll find friendly service, clean rooms, very comfortable beds and updated furnishings. When we go to Machias this is the only place we will stay now. The breakfast nook is tiny, but always clean and tidy.

This was one of our nicest room: comfortable beds, clean and quiet. Rates right up there with Holiday Inn Express. The heated bathroom floors were great. Very clean, nice people to deal with. Will stay there again.

From the outside, based on the 'neighborhood', I expected your typical roadside motel with tacky wallpaper & artwork, industrial carpet, dated polyester bedspreads, stale air, etc.; but you feel like you've been transported to a trendy, modern, more urban locale -- someplace far from Rte 1 in Machias, Maine. It's more expensive than other motels in the area, which were... More

It's very easy and convenient place to stay in Bangor . Maybe the room has a little small for two of us but everything is fine. Don't forget to have breakfast there ! You can have your own pancake with cream and berries.
