My husband and I stayed at the Ice Fish Inn for 2 nights while we visited Baxter state park to hike Mt. Katahdin. The Inn is located several miles from park but it is pretty much one of the closest places to stay. Not too many options in this small town. We stayed in the

We stayed here recently and thought it was a wonderful small inn. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Several friendly pets too! The room we stayed in was clean, modern and very comfortable. Very quiet and a great place to stay at a reasonable price. Check out the The AT

This is not a B&B. Did have coffee in the morning. We had a room upstairs with private bath, frig, tv and it met our needs for 1 night. Upon arriving the sign post for the inn needs to be painted as well as front steps, door bell did not work and covered front porch need some

The Ice Fish Inn is a charming old inn located in the heart of Maine's great outdoors. Millinocket is the starting point for adventures in Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin. The rooms are clean and well kept, and the owners are great hosts! Highly recommended for all seasons.

This is a great inexpensive place to stay in Millinocket. Easy to get to & close to downtown. Clean and comfortable lodging with great staff. Lots of small incidentals that you don't get in many other places.

We do not have any AAA or AARP rates. For reservations made by phone or directly through the our website or mobile site, we charge a cancellation fee for cancellations made five days or less before a booked stay at our inn. The cancellation fee is equal to one night's stay. Cancellations affect our business significantly therefore, we do adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Reservations made through any of the commercial internet booking services are subject to the cancellation policies listed on those sites. We can not refund or discount any room charges for reservations made through those sites and can not waive any cancellation fees charged by those sites.

Every guest room has its own private bath. We have a dog and cats. Our downstairs is pet-friendly, including the two rooms which have two queen beds per room. The pets are often allowed to roam in the downstairs lobby and parlor areas. We do allow pets to stay with guests traveling with their own, but only in those two downstairs rooms. For guests who are allergic, we can and often do confine the cats in our living quarters on request; however, two of our cats are long-hairs who are big shedders, so despite daily cleaning, the public areas downstairs can be hiding small amounts of cat hair and dander between cleanings. If you are hyper-sensitive to cats, you might be better all at an entirely pet-free lodging like the excellent B&B next door to us. All of our upstairs rooms upstairs are pet free. No pets are allowed upstairs, including our own pets. The upstairs rooms have one queen bed per room but there are no downstairs rooms with just one bed. So long as you book a one-bed room, it will always be a pet free room.

"If you are allergic to pets, book a room upstairs."
"They allow your pets in the two downstairs rooms."
"The medieval room is the first room at the top of the stairs-easy to get to and exit out of."
