We were planning to family in the area and searched lodging near Poland. What a fortunate find! The Wolf Cove Inn is pristine, both inside and outside. From the beautifully manicured gardens to the relaxing scenery of Tripp Lake, this property is quintessential Maine. Roy and Sue have clearly invested their hearts and talents in their renovation of this inn....

Jan, thank you for your kind review. And thank you for recommending us to your family. We are glad to be able to provide "overflow housing" for our neighbors on the lakes who run out of room.

Our stay was lovely - relaxing and rejuvenating. The property is very tranquil and would be nice for a family vacation spot with water access and canoes & kayaks. The room was spacious with a huge jetted tub that offered a view of the lake. The bed was comfy with super soft sheets and fluffy pillows. The breakfast was delicious...

The attention to detail at the Wolf Cove Inn is incredible. Beautiful surroundings, lovely, comfortable rooms, incredible breafasts and friendly and helpful hosts. So nice to enjoy a quiet day by the lake swimming, kayaking and watching the loons! Beautiful sunset across the lake! We can't wait to return!

We loved the inn, there for my wife's birthday. It's superbly appointed, both the public sitting areas and the Moosehead Lake room, where we stayed. The breakfasts were scrumptious and original, yet faithful to Maine ingrediants. The view across the lake is mesmerizing; we'd still be there if reality hadn't intruded. We swam and we kayaked and almost had the...

Fred, thank you so much for you wonderful words of praise. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Sue and I enjoyed meeting you. Regarding those kayaks, well, we used to have one more to pair with the other single kayak. Alas, it seems to have misplaced itself. We are still hoping it will turn up after...

Sue, Roy and their staff gave us a wonderful getaway. There are lake views everywhere, especially the first floor dining & living room, which is cozy, yet large enough for every guest to have personal space (breakfast is offered at two-tops as well as large, family-style tables). The rooms are spotless and lovely. We enjoyed complimentary wine & cheese on...

Jeannie, thank you so much for choosing us. And thank you so much for the wonderful comments. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I must say, one thing I think I'll always remember is the look on John's face when I told him we were serving kielbasa for breakfast. Wish I got a picture! And I'll make sure...

We were fortunate enough to stay here at the beginning of June 2015 due to a very unpleasant experience with another local establishment. I called the inn very last minute and was able to get their last room available. It was beautiful. The owners were great and took care of us very well. There was an unexpected wine and cheese...

Had a nice stay at the Inn in June. This was my 2nd stay and I will return. Enjoyed kayaking and the peacefulness of the lake. Jordon Shore Rd runs along the lake providing a nice place to walk. Food & service was great. Room very clean & comfortable. Liked having use or refrigerator in hall.

We stayed at the Wolf Cove Inn for 1 night on a weekend trip to Maine. The inn was about a 40 minute drive from Portland along some nicely forested roads. It felt like an escape from the city, but not so far away that we couldn't go back to Portland for dinner. Sue and Roy welcomed us immediately and...

My partner and I were away for a friend's wedding. The ceremony was late in the day - but between the boats, the sun porch, the patio, and the comfortable room we didn't have to go anywhere to stay occupied during the day. It was a fantastic weekend and we can't wait to return.
