I stayed here twice, the second time the owner was not happy that I used a Trip Advisor or similar Hotel review, he said " If you stayed here before, its ok to use them, but the second time I have to pay them for booking your room. It isn't fair, you already like this place"…
We had a great stay at the Sanford Inn. From the very friendly gentleman at check in to the clean, spacious room we really had no complaints. It was a great price and value. The motel is not far from restaurants, shops, beaches and the Ogunquit Playhouse. We'll visit again.

My wife and I were traveling on 10/7 and it hotels were booked along our route. The Sanford had one room available and the owner was kind enough to show it to us before we booked. Nothing special but it beat sleeping in the car! Included breakfast was adequate.
I'm being charged 168.95 for a room I didn't reserve with them.. because that is there policy and they won't waive it. No idea how this reservation cabout, only found out after the fact. I'm not happy. I can only hope that karma exists.
"It wasa a single story Inn, I only needed to sleep there at night."
"We were in the back section, corner room (I think 39) and it was very quiet."
"ask for a room in the back parking lot area -- off the road and quieter"
"Small 1 floor strip of rooms. All similar"
"Rooms in the front are quieter than they appear. Road noise is not a factor."
