We were delayed checking in by 1/2 hr due to cleaning girl showing up late for work and she was running around barefoot. Had to ask for ice bucket and glasses, toilet paper. Couldn't lock our door......motel mgr finally called locksmith to fix both locks....took him 45 min. No towel bars in bathroom and shower dripping constantly. MOUSE running around floor... More

My name is Victoria. We are pilot cars in wind energy. This is my second year staying here for a wind project. It is older motel but they keep it with country charm. Great beds, clean rooms. The Angler restaurant next door is handy and very good. Thanks, to the staff at both for allowing us to feel at home.... More

We were up in Searsport for a wedding on July 18th. I had confirmed reservations for the night of the 17th. Made the reservations in late May. Got to the restaurant where you're supposed to check-in, and was informed that they were "over-booked" and would need to go elsewhere...while the gentleman at the register did what he needed to do,... My name is Victoria. We have been doing a wind energy project here since June. When I pulled up to motel I was leary. Do not judge by the cover. This has been a working vacation. The rooms are cozy and clean. The beds, Awsome and towels plush. The staff is so accommodating. I really feel I'm home. Thank you... More

The Bait's Motel is just the kind of Mom and Pop place we look for. We'd been driving back from Jackman, looking at houses we were interested in, and considered ourselves fortunate to find the place. It's quaint looking on the outside, and the rooms have obviously been updated. The towels were so thick and plush, my husband is still... More

It's a quirky little motel, a family-owned strip right on the side of busy and potentially loud Route 1. On the plus side I thought it was a great value for the price in a region which can get very expensive in the high tourist season. The inside of the room was much better than I expected from looking at... More

Don't let the cover fool you, this is a wonderful spot for an overnight stop. Small rooms with beautiful beds, and high end towels and bedding. Rooms were reminiscent of the 70's, but with a grammie's attic feel. No morning amenities other than the in- room coffee pot, but this is the place to stop late and leave early, lots... More

We spent 2 nites here over Columbus day weekend. We are travelling the country with 2 dogs. Everything nicer in the area that allowed dogs was either booked or way too expensive considering we only need a place to sleep. We got a suite because there wasn't a regular pet room available for both nites. The living room was small... More

Do not judge this motel by it's cover. My room was very clean. The bed and the linens were very comfortable. The towels were great also! I have stay here several times and I was not disappointed. Give it a try.
