We rented the cabins for our family reunion. What a stunning location! Right next to the Kennebec River. It was a perfect location for our family. The camp restaurant has excellent rib eye and a breakfast buffet of homemade goodies. Loved the corned beef hash and French toast. The cabins have plenty of beds We loved it!

We brought our camper up for the weekend to meet some friends that rented a cabin. This is our first year camping so keep that in mind looking at my review, because maybe I am clueless as to what rv camping really is or should be? On the information sheet when we checked in, it mentioned no air-conditioners because they...

Three retired guys looking for a quiet spot as a jumping off point for a week of fishing, biking, kayaking, and white-water rafting found the perfect spot at Evergreens Campground. We had a cozy no-frills cabin, right on the Beautiful Kennebec River, with just the modest accoutrements we needed: Bunks, bathroom, fire ring, picnic table. We availed ourselves of the...

We love evergreens campgrounds. We can ride the trails right from our camp sites. Everyone is always friendly. There aren't many frills there no pool but it's right on the river. You can drive up the road and drop people and tubes or kayaks off and they can float down the river to the campground. There is a restaurant that...

We extended our vacation by one day to stay over here based on the 5 star reviews. Sounded like a great place to wrap up a wonderful vacation. A weekday in July-- very few campers. Looks like mostly seasonal sites that are used on weekends. Lots of sites with ATVs parked. Reviews emphasize Rustic and primitive- that is fine --...

I have stayed at Evergreens many times. The owners are great people. Any issues and they are right there to fix. Nice no thrills kinda camping. Right on the Main atv trails. Prices are worth it. Clean showers and bathrooms. Never had any issue and would recommend this campground for any atver or camper.

This us a very special place. Peaceful & clean. We fished, waded in the river, played horseshoes, and enjoyed a beautiful fire every night. Loved that they had spring water right there. Loved seeing the Native American artifacts and old photos in the restaurant. Will definitely go again!

A fishing buddy and I went to Evergreens for a local Trout Unlimited chapter weekend a couple years ago. We found the owners helpful and welcoming and have returned annually because of the ambiance and informality. Fishing, artificial lures & flies only, is challenging but worthwhile, the campground is clean and located right on the river. The cabins are reasonably...

I have gone back to The Evergreens for the cabin rentals for about 5 years in a row now, although it is a complete campground as well. The owners are great and even provide free shuttles to pick you up from your Kayaking adventure down the Kennebec River. The cabins are the perfect mix of comfort and still feeling like...
