Stopped in without reservations late in the evening and paid $80 for a twin and double bed room. The room was clean and extremely small (so small that you had to walk into the shower in order to close the bathroom door). The furnishing were really dated and the bed gear was also very old. It smelled stale and it... More

We arrived in York around 9 PM looking for a place to stay in mid-October, the peak of the leaf peeper season. The vacancy light was on, and we found two decent rooms for a much better price than the other, fully-occupied motels offered. The owner was friendly and pleasant. Rooms are spartan, but clean and comfortable. Will stay here... More

Found this online and the price was great. When we arrived we liked it right away. The hostess Ann was very nice. The room was old but very clean and neat. It had a fridge which was a surprise. It's about 1.5 miles from the beach which was fine. Morning breakfast was a surpirse. There were 2 kinds of muffins,... More

A week ago we went to the southern coast of Maine. Usually stay in Wells but thought we might change things up for a night or so. Saw this listing in one of the discount lodging guides we picked up on the Mass pike. Advertised as family owned and $49 a night off season. We pulled in, rang the bell,... More

This is retro motel from the 1950’s. The rooms are small with 7 foot ceilings. The furnishings are original New England. The beds are comfortable. If you plan on hanging out at the hotel all day, this is not the place for you. However, if you want an exceptionally clean room in a great location, this is a good choice.... More

Very nice rooms, for the value. Also the staff couldn't be nicer. I have been there once before and wanted a specific room. So after hearing me talk about how I got a different room from before, they so nicely switched me. Nice quick breakfast in the AM. VERY CLEAN, also a great location.

We thankfully made reservations for one night a few weeks ago. Seems that this small, rustic little place sells out through out the busy, Summer months. Rooms are clean and a bit small, but worth the price in the area. The owners are very nice and know the area well. Parking is right outside the room. Would def. stay again.... More

We stayed at the Faircrest Motel in 2012 and enjoyed our stay. The owners were nice and we thought the room, though small and a bit cramped, was reasonably priced, and in a good location, so we decided to go back this year (Aug. 2012). As I spoke to the owner, Don, to book a room, I asked whether they'd... More

We were in York for the weekend to attend a wedding. There were two couples and one single man in our group and we rented 3 rooms. There are only 9 rooms in this motel. We were looking for something economical but also clean and well maintained and found it here. The room had one double bed, and one twin.... More

Good location. Good room. They honored the price in the Highway coupon book (many places pull the old 'those rooms are all sold out' trick). Good Breakfast with homemade muffins. Next door to a roadside Lobster/Ice Cream place. Free wi-fi. All good. I'd probably give it 5 stars if the rooms were newer, but it was good as it was.... More
