This was my second trip to Inn Boonsboro and it was just as amazing the second time. My husband and I stayed in the Wesley and Buttercup suite, and it really felt like we were royalty! Every detail made you feel like you were a part of the story "The Princess Bride". The staff are all so friendly and do...

LOVED that I felt like I was in the book series. Am planning on staying again and trying another room, not that our room was bad (on the contrary) but would like not to be on the first floor for the next trip. The only negatives were that the inn is located at a very busy and loud intersection; the...

This is a bed and breakfast owned by Nora Roberts, so right away we knew it would be nice. We had the Jane and Rochester Suite, and it was extra special. The bathroom was huge with a Japanese toilet called Toto that did all sorts of things for you. The shower was large and had several sprayers as well as...

The building, the design, the decor, the staff are absolutely wonderful. Our room "Jane and Rochester" was exquisite. The bathroom was extraordinary. The linens are soft, the towels are plush. Breakfast, coffee, snacks, soft drinks are all included. The only problem, and the reason we could never come back, is the noise. On the corner of two busy streets, they've...

Booked the weekend to surprise my wife on our 33rd anniversary. She was thrilled and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it, as well. As soon as you walk in, you start to feel relaxed. It was uncanny. Since my wife is a huge fan of the "In Death" series, We stayed in the Eve and Roarke...

My husband booked this as a surprise getaway and we stayed in Wesley and Buttercup over Valentine's Day weekend. The room was amazing! Huge tub and shower, heated floors, electronic toilet, comfortable beds, and the room was beautifully decorated. We have already booked our next stay!

Heated floors, heated towel racks, tubs so deep and lush, you can just sink away into them...I didn't ever want to leave. The breakfasts are amazing and there's free...yes...FREE Irish whiskey in the library. I'm ready to go back.

This place is a little gem. Gorgeously appointed rooms with electronic toilets, massage-head showers, and heated floors. Luxurious bedding and towels. Delicious breakfast, drinks, and wine and cheese. Every detail is perfect.

Penthouse was well-appointed with some great perks--huge shower and toto toilet for instance. Bed was very comfortable. Street noise was minimal since the bedroom is off the main street to the back. Nice large sofa in front room. Attention to detail was excellent--hardwood floors, marble and tile bath, good blinds for privacy. Two items I would suggest for the future--a...

We miss Ellen and Tom, previous hosts, but new crew not bad either. This is owned by Nora Roberts, so expect the best. Bathrooms and rooms clean. Town great getaway. Turn the page bookstore, quaint. Near Antietam Natl Park for civil war buffs....a lot of history near. Harpers Ferry right down road as well as Frederick MD. Must see.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With the warmth and welcome of a bed and breakfast combined with the luxury of a boutique hotel, Inn BoonsBoro offers you an unforgettable experience. Housed in the first stone building constructed in the historic town of Boonsboro, the inn was updated in 2008 with a three-million dollar remodel and renovation. Throughout this extensive renovation, we have honored the dignity and charm of this historic site while designing a small hotel to meet the most discerning guests' expectations. Our guests can choose from among eight rooms, including two suites and a ground-floor ADA compliant guest room. With the exception of The Penthouse, all our rooms have been inspired by literary romantic couples. ... more   less
