Rosemary and Colin are the perfect hosts in every way. Rosemary's food is wonderful - fresh and flavoursome and generous. Colin is a raconteur and DJ par excellence! They are both welcoming, intellegent, amusing, relaxed, professional, thoughtful and discreet. Even the rainbow lorikeets are friendly. Lots to do: kayaking around the island and over to The Point for coffee, walks...

My husband and I stayed at Scotland Island Lodge for three nights and had a wonderful time. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, large and clean, and with lots of thoughtful extras like magazines and homemade biscuits. The food was marvellous, both breakfast and dinners included, with the food being of a high restaurant standard. Colin and Rosemary...

An island in Pittwater called Scotland Island, the home of Rosemary and Colin and their Bed and Breakfast. . For us, it is our time out, nestled among the gum trees we veg out or go forth...

We stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of January sandwiched between flying in from New Zealand and heading up to the Blue Mountains. We were looking for a quiet place to sit and read and relax in the middle of a 3 week antipodean trip and it fitted the bill. We were lucky to get good weather as...

Wonderful 2 day stay !!! Stayed with my wife and young boy. Really excellent place to escape the city and relax. You can explore the island at a leisurely pace - time seems to stand still. Scotland Island Lodge is a great place to stay, fully recommended. Take the meal package - this is really outstanding 5* food, very memorable....

“There are 3 different type of rooms, better to ask Rosemary which one is available. Next time I probably will select the room with private spa, just to try. However our room had a lovely private lounge with plenty of books, free movies etc (ideal for winter). Will try Yoga next time.”
