This location was perfect for the event; our hostess was warm and gracious, the rooms large and spacious. The B&B was well located and only a short walk away from great restaurants, an outdoor patio for an evening libation, and a strolling visit to a lovely village and good shopping.

My wife surprised me with a terrific birthday weekend in St. Michael's. This excellent B&B is well located near the shops and restaurants of town, and you can see the waterfront from the front steps. The dining room and sitting room downstairs are both beautifully decorated and pleasant. We stayed in the Edward Elliott room and it's gorgeous and immaculately...

My wife and I fortunately stayed at the Tarr House the night of the 21st July, this year. Excellent location, excellent room, excellent breakfast, more than excellent hostess. The primary house was built in 1636 with an addition I believe added on in the 1800's. Looking out the window I could only wonder what it was like back in the...

My wife and I stayed at the Tarr house for our 25th wedding anniversary at the beginning of December. The location is near the main street making all destinations for shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Parking was conveniently located directly across the street and it was free. Bonnie, the Innkeeper/Owner was delightful on the phone when we made the...

We returned to the Tarr House and had the other of 2 bedrooms than we had before. Again it was charming and so comfortable - a trip back in history. The breakfast was delicious. Our hostess was so wonderful. The location is perfect for visiting St. Michaels -- you can walk everywhere from the Tarr House.

We stayed here on a trip to St. Michaels Maryland and it was a perfect choice. It is small - only 2 rooms. But both are beautifully decorated and the bed was soooo comfortable. The original house dates back to the 1600's and is charming. Bonnie is a superb innkeeper. The full breakfasts were delicious in a charming dining room...

I stayed here in July, 2010. Perfect location because it is very close to the harbor and one block off the main street which keeps it quiet. I came by boat so it was important to be able to walk to everything. Nice waterfront park right out the front door. 5 minute walk to maritime museum. Room was very nice....

We chose this place for a quick trip and we were glad we did. Bonnie was a perfect hostess and makes a great breakfast. Our room had a very comfortable king size bed and was tucked away into the eaves in a most creative way. The room was a little tricky to navigate at times so beware if you are...
