We stayed three nights. At the campground and had a nice experience. We were in a pull through site and had plenty of room for the slide and awning, but our neighbors site was very narrow and they could not deploy their awning. There were any fun family facilities no our grandson loved the bounce pillow, the playgrounds and the...

I'm not a fan of Ramblin' Pines. Yes. The campground facilitates seem nice. Lots of shade and what appeared to be nice family friendly appurtenances. At $65 a night it's pricey. They charge an extra $5 per person beyond 2. I've run my Motorhome across the country twice now. With a group of 4, I never had to pay extra....

we stayed for 5 nights. it was ok. pricey and the lots were gravel, I prefer asphalt or cement. it was great for kids. Lots of playgrounds. nice pool. I did not like the way to get in and out of the entrance. if you were going to be back after 8:30 pm, you have to pay a refundable fee...

Let's just say my average rating reflects the average feeling I have for this location. We were going to be staying here for 3 months. That's fairly long term for someone traveling and staying in an RV. Firstly, the area they placed us in is way too small for our length of trailer. It was terrible for the frame, and...

We stayed here for three days in mid April while visiting family in the area. Check in was easy and quick, the staff very friendly. Park was in nice shape for this time of year. We were in a pull thru #8, site was long wide and right on the mark level. Electric was stable and water pressure was good....

We stayed here in May in our travel trailer while some construction was being done on our home. We stayed for 2 weeks. We We're supposed to stay a month, but our experience was so unpleasant we left early. The campground caters mainly to the many workers that stay here for long periods of time in their rvs. We were...

Good quiet stay here for several nights. Roads can be a bit tight getting in here. We have family in Mount Airy that we were visiting so it was a great location for us. They have lots of amenities, although we really didn't use many of them. We would come back here again.

We stayed at Ramblin Pines in our travel trailer. We were very pleased with campground. When I called only about a week and a half before our 3 day weekend trip, I asked for a site that was close to the amenities with very little walking. The staff was very helpful in giving recommendations and different options. We changed our...

This is truly a campground not a RV park with many activities for children of all ages. Heated swimming pool, catch and release fishing pond, arcade, put-put golf, walking trails , general store and many more fun special activities for the whole family. They are one of the Diamonds in the Ruff that reinvest in the campground with new roads,...

The camping trip that never was. The experience I had here today makes me believe the staff at this campgroud have forgotten the golden rule of a business that it's the customers that make their business. Bottom line, they acted like they didn't want to be bothered. We recently booked our yearly October trip and, this year, we were going...

“Make sure you look on Google Earth to get an idea of where your site is. Don't rely on the management to tell you they are giving you a great site because there really are none. Stay away from the main loop road because you will be constantly bothered by the loud gas powered golf carts used by the staff who drive through the campground at 15mph, even though 5 mph is the posted speed limit. Keep your kids off the roads.”

“It was a very nice campground and we will be back. It started off right by polite staff then got better when a man in a golf cart guided us to our spot then help guide me to back in. We faced an RV storage lot and by the map alone I never would have picked it. Was a good choice though nice and quiet, very level and a nice view. Can't wait to take the grandkids back to their big trampoline thing and let them fish in the catch and release pond.”
