This is a typical Marriott property: clean room, lots of free parking, free wifi but not password protected (very bad), free breakfast (eggs, sausage, muffin, waffles, breads, cereals, fruits, coffee, and orange juice), and the staff was very helpful and professional. Also, there was a self service laundry. The hotel was close to the commuter rail station (5 minute walk;...

We came up to Boston for a funeral and there was not much choice of hotel. This hotel has a good location, being very close to the highway and the Legacy Place shopping center. The personnel at the hotel were very nice. The hotel smelled of mold. The room was very basic but again, the smell was not good.

Simply put, this hotel was fine. It was everything I expected it to be and nothing more. Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. Staff was fine, not exceptionally friendly but helpful and got the job done. Maybe it is just me, but I found the layout to be incredibly confusing. There was a 1, a 2, a...

Thank you for taking your time to write this review. We know our building is different from any other Fairfield Inn with its own style and layout and understand that the layout can confuse guests. The desk staff does provide a map of the property and directions to your room upon arrival.

Friendly and helpful staff. They were able to accommodate my family and I. Had great breakfast, and it's located about 30 minutes from Boston. The only issue I had was that the staff were moving equipment oo furniture very early every morning. It was a bit annoying since people are in vacation and want to sleep in.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are glad you liked the hotel and staff and location. We are sorry if we disturbed your sleep. Our staff does need to start cleaning rooms by a certain time to be sure the rooms are ready for the arrivals. However I will make sure they are more mindful...

So you walk in and think ok, property is dated and needs a facelift. This is all true, but as a frequent business traveler, I can tell you that bar none, this team delivers some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. This totally surprised me as I tend to love a premium, clean upscale hotel. Trust me...

We arrived after midnight and were checked in quickly and greeted pleasantly. Hotel is in a good spot near the Franklin Rail Line. The second we entered the hotel in the back it was musty smelling. Our room was a little better once we cranked the A/C unit, but I woke up all stuffy from the mold. A/C unit also...

I stayed here for 3 nights visiting family. Pros: quiet room, friendly and helpful staff, easy (free) parking, close to several highways and legacy place shopping. Cons: slow (free) wireless, inconvenient single elevator. I didn't try the free breakfast but it looked average. I'd stay there again. Price was on the high side of reasonable.

Didn't give the feel of a Marriott and actually its a property that carriers the Marriott name but is franchised out like many other properties. Room was clean but the overall hotel is dated and in need of a facelift. The Legacy Mall across the street is definitely a perk.

Thank you for taking your time to composite this review for the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Boston Dedham. While you are correct this hotel is a franchise we are held to the same service standards and property improvement plans as any corporately own Marriott Property. In fact we are currently scheduled to undergo renovations later this year.

Older property that shows its age. Despite elite status, we were still given room closest to front desk and breakfast area and were awakened by setup noises for breakfast. Although a handicapped room, it was small and the bed soft. Ventilation was suboptimal, the room would not cool down. Sink counter space was tiny. Power outlets were scarce. On our...

Smelled bad. Too expensive. Odd. Weird room in the basement. Our ac unit had to be mounted up the wall. Good thing I'm tall enough to reach. Had to turn the ac in to a level hat was too cold just to get the stale smell out of the room. Don't stay here.
