The Cape off season is a slice of magic in its own right but coming home to Anchorage on the Cove is an absolute treat. Kathy and Dennis are the consummate hosts - present but not impeding; their generosity of spirit knows no bounds. In direct response to the derogatory reviewer, we stayed in Bell Buoy Cottage and found it...

My girlfriend and I stayed here during the winter, (an odd time to visit the Cape, we know), and absolutely cannot say enough about Kathy and Dennis' hospitality and charm. Upon arrival, Kathy spent a good chunk of her time showing us maps of all the local towns, pointing out cool sights to see, markets to visit and restaurants to...

This property is located between the new and the old Cape Cod areas on Route 6. Once inside, you are facing the calm waters of the Cove from most of the cottages, which are a short level down from the road and make you totally forget the busy main road. We stayed in the Mate’s Quarters, which had two decks...

Another stay at Anchorage on the Cove, in Eastham. As a single traveler, I'm always happy to find a place that meets my needs, which is why I come back each year. And what a delightful spot, right on the cove, and a great way to experience Cape Cod. I stayed in a lovely, spacious apartment, Captain’s Quarters. The cottages...

This is our fifth summer staying at Anchorage on the Cove. For the past two years we have found ourselves visiting twice in the summer. We aren't as sad when our July stay ends because we know we will be back in August. The Bunnell's are wonderful hosts. They do everything possible to make your stay wonderful. If you like...

Dennis and Kathy were the most gracious and charming hosts you could ever ask for. They gave so much good to us that it made us, the tired travelers that we were, revived and content and ready to go onto the last leg of our journey. I recommend this place for families, friends, anyone who wants a lovely charming place...

We've been to Anchorage on the Cove several times and continue to enjoy the beauty and serenity this lovely place offers. It is a hidden gem with fantastic sunrise views right outside your cottage. The guest cottages are well equipt, clean and comfortable. Several are pet friendly. It is centrally located on the Cape with excellent restaurants, beaches and bike...

We visited the Anchorage on the Cove this September for a nice family getaway from Boston with our toddler and our dog. Inside, the cabin is comfortable, clean and has all of your basic amenities. The views are spectacular, the deck was heavenly and the grounds were impeccable. Kathy and Dennis are some of the kindest and friendliest innkeepers we...

This was our first time staying here. We were so lucky to find this little tucked away gem! It also had a couple of dog-friendly cottages! The property owners Kathy & Dennis were absolutely wonderful! Kathy greeted us with wonderful maps and information booklets for the area and both she and Dennis offered us great suggestions on local restaurants, beaches,...
