We love the Wainwright Inn B&B. The inn is beautiful, the innkeepers are delightful, and the rooms are charming. Enjoy a different and delicious breakfast every morning, explore Great Barrington and the Berkshires and return to the Wainwright for tea and sherry in the afternoon. Post dinner/theatre/Tanglewood retreat to the Wainwright and enjoy a late night port. The Wainwright is...

Can't get enough of this inn. We spent a week here last year came back for another week now. I even sent my daughter and her fiance here last summer. Delightful and luxurious rooms in a beautiful cosy, yet spacious, antique house. The wrap around terrace is a nice place to read and chat. The owner Marja is a great...

We spent a week in this historic inviting B&B. Marja and Bob were excellent hosts and so knowledgable about the area. Breakfast was always a treat with healthy and homemade specials. Our room was large and well appointed. My husband especially enjoyed his port treat every evening! We hope to come back one day.

No sign of Daryl or his much-praised breakfasts. We are frequent b&b guests in the Berkshires, elsewhere in New England, and globally, and we are accustomed to more selection, more interesting entrees, and more fruit. The inn is very historic, with ties to the American Revolution and Thomas Edison, and the rooms are spacious. The location is a pleasant walk...

Making the reservation with the hostess was very easy and cordial. The hostess provided good information about the area, especially about the W.E.B. DuBois African-American Center. The town and the inn sounded very inviting. Due to bad weather, our trip was canceled and we were not able to stay at Wainwright Inn, but we very much look forward to staying...

We (a couple and 10 year old) stayed for two nights at the Wainwright Inn and had a wonderful time. Marja and Robert are amazing hosts - they truly love what they do and it shows. The Inn itself is beautiful - the historic details and feel is authentic and we felt very much at home. The breakfast by Marja...

We stayed two nights in February during the blizzard of 2013. Walking distance to town and restaurants. Robert and Marja were extremely hospitable and gave us many suggestion of where to go and where to eat. Easy drive to Butternut. Very good breakfast. We frequent B&B's whenever possible and found Wainwrights an outstanding option in the Berkshires. Excellent living room...

My wife gets five stars for arranging our stay at the Wainwright Inn. Having literally traveled around the world and over a hundred visits to Europe, I found that Marja, Robert and Daryl set the top bar for excellence of hospitality. Thanks to Daryl's excellent and generous chef's skills, I am still working off a few extra pounds. Owners Marja...

We spent two nights at this pleasant B & B. We were warmly greeted by the innkeeper who provided lots of local information. Breakfasts were excellent and we were always offered more to eat! It's only a five minute walk from the centre of Great Barrington with its restaurants and shops. A perfect location for exploring the area.

We have stayed at the Wainwright Inn for the past six Labor Day Weekends, and it is truly a visit to see old friends. Robert & Marja are excellent hosts, and think of all of the little things one might need. Daryl has cooked all over the world, and we as guests are so lucky to be sampling his delicious...
