Our experience at the Ipswich Inn has been extraordinary. We feel like we have arrived at our parents house every time we arrive at this place. The rooms are extremely clean and elegant. The breakfast is delicious. Served with lots of love and caring attitude. I will go back and recommend the Ipswich Inn to anyone that enjoys quality and...

We loved staying at this bed and breakfast in the pretty small town of Ipswich. It felt like coming home to family and was very welcoming. The food was great and the rooms clean and comfortable. The brunch on Sunday was very busy and the service was slow--probably due to a large wedding in town. Overall, I'm recommend and would...

Ray and Margaret were wonderful hosts in this beautiful New England B and B with great service, elegant rooms and an incredible breakfast. The hosts were very personable and helpful with information about the area and things to do.

You can not find a nicer place to celebrate your 60th birthday on the north shore. Ray and Margaret are amazing hosts, room was comfortable, and breakfast outstanding! They helped us find a great place for our birthday dinner at the 1640 Hart House in Ipswich. A very relaxing place to stay. We would highly recommend this Inn to anyone.

We had an outstanding weekend at the Ipswich Inn. The building, rooms, dining and people were just perfect. Cannot say enough about Ray and Margaret and how nice they were, or how fanstastic the breakfast was! The Inn is in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to downtown Ipswich with a couple great little bars (go to the Salt...

We used to stay in Newburyport when we went to Crane beach. This year we discovered this nice place. Warn welcome, nice room, good breakfast. And not too expensive. We'll return certainly. Ipswich is a nice place to discover for its architecture.

Went here for breakfast with my mom. The food was very good and it was nice to eat outside on the deck. We did not stay at the inn but it is great for breakfast. The hash is homemade and you can get a biscuit instead of toast if you want.

One of my only pet peeves travelling is how clean the rooms are. We stayed in the Wicker Room. The shower curtain was covered in mold and smelled AWFUL! That started me off on the wrong foot with this place. The room also needed to be vacuumed and dusted. For the most part the inn was pretty quiet but I...

After a quick walk down the hill, jump on the train to Boston. Salem Witches are just a stone's throw away. OR.. just hang out on the...

Had a great stay at the Ipswich Inn in May. The inn is a wonderful old house, the proprietors are friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was well-prepared and served in a bright sunny room. I felt right at home there. It is surrounded on all sides by historic houses and is a very short...
