We were 14 adults and 6 dogs and stayed in 4 cottages. We all had a wonderful time and it’s ideal place for groups of friends. The cottages are all comfortable and well equipped. The games room and pool are a added bonus. We hired the Walnut room for New Year’s Eve celebration

Thank you for visiting Church Farm for a third time. We really value your repeat business. Please note our cottages are always undergoing redecoration and updates on a rolling basis. Our pool is open from 8am - 9pm every Saturday/Sunday. During midweek, Monday-Friday (school term time only), it is closed in the middle of the day. Pool times are always available to our guests. We hope to see you at Church Farm again soon.

I booked a three night break with my family and we were underwhelmed. We’d previously stayed in self catering accommodation on a farm and were really excited for our children to spend time with the animals but as there are no farm tours at the weekend this didn’t happen. We did

Many thanks for your feedback. We really value this. We are pleased you and your family enjoyed the pool. Our pool facilities are cleaned regularly and we were disappointed to hear that they weren't up to our usual standard on the occasion you used the pool. With regard to your comment about not getting a response to your text about something not working, we would like to hear more information about this as we always endeavour to get back to our guests as quickly as possible to resolve any issues. As you will see from our website we are a working sheep farm and our fields are usually full with ewes and their lambs which our guests can view. We are pleased you met some of our friendly lambs. The 'farm and woodland experiences' such as sheep herding, feeding lambs and sheep, farm tours, creative crafts and other seasonal activities are very popular with our visitors which is why they need to be booked in advance. We provide further information on this in our confirmation email sent to guests when they book. Details are also on our website. Thank you again for your feedback. It is important to us.

We've just arrived back from a 4 night stay. We stayed in the Bury' s cottage it was a little small but for the 2 of us it worked well, Lovely & Cosy with a four poster bed. On arrival we were met by the owner who kindly made sure we had everything we needed and took the time to

Many thanks for taking the trouble to leave a review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay - especially the scones with some red wine! There is a good local bus service, the 'D1' which goes through the village of Winsley from Bath to Salisbury. Our nearest bus stop is only 500 metres from Church Farm and buses run every 30 minutes throughout the day. Our nearest train station is at Avoncliff (1 mile) with larger stations at Bradford on Avon (2 miles) and Bath (5 miles). Taxis are available. We are pleased you enjoyed the walking right from our doorstep and of course the village pub 'The Seven Stars'.

I am unsure which are the quietest rooms, however we stayed in accommodation right next to the road and we didn't hear any traffic noise.

"Ask them for the best room to suite your needs, I did and very helpful"
"We liked the old Granary :-)"
"Although we were in the end cottage it could be noisy at times but Burys cottage was lovely!"
"If you have a dog Burys is good as it is in a corner so you can make your own little garden"
"Would recommend the 1 bed Burys Cottage as it has a 4-poster bed & is at the end of the cottages so gives a greater degree of privacy."
