I visited for 2 nights in late August, toward the end of the season. It was bare-bones, but exactly what I was looking for: safe, cheap, centrally-located, clean (enough), free parking. I was in a 6-person room (3 bunks), and there were 4 of us the first night and just me the second -- one bunk was occupied by a... More

Okay, so I had a bunk room to myself (post-tourism season after all), shower, kitchen, and clean sheets. That's what made it sort of worth it. I'm really easy going, but I couldn't help but feel that the manager/owner was really abrasive, as if I was a burden to her by being there. Additionally, I was slightly shocked when after... More

It is cheap for people staying just a day or two. It is quite expensive for students arriving for the entire season. Despite the continuous revenue we provided for the owner by staying from May till September, the treatment we received was mediocre and even horrible at times. We had bed bugs and the owner refused to move us to... More

This is not a "nice" place, but it is cheap cheap cheap in an expensive town, which makes it a good option for those of us who want to save money. There are no frill here. You will get a clean bunk bed in a small cabin with eight people staying in it. The bathroom is cleanish. There is a... More

Yikes. Bugs, bugs, bugs everywhere. I don't advise this place. Then, on top of that, they don't answer their phones. The cabins are in very very very poor disrepair. Screen doors are ripped. The rooms are very shabby. Try to leave a message and its impossible. Try to get a call back. Forget about it. Avoid this place. Very dissatisfied.... More

It's cheap, that says it all. Keep expectations low and you won't be disappointed. It was kind of clean, sheets smelled like they were washed, shower was warm, no bugs and we didn't use the kitchen but it was there. Went for just 1 night, just for sleep. They only had bunk beds (6 a room) so that was quite... More

Price is fantastic Low price and free parking in an area know for high prices and no parking. (Actually, you can't get parking for what Sheila charges.) Been staying there from a couple to 5 nights a trip for the last 15 years or so- maybe more. Sheila, the manager/ owner is friendly and easy-going as are the folks who... More

If you are visiting PTown on your own or with your friends and looking for a relaxed, inexpensive place, this is the best bet. This is NOT an urban hostel with 24 hour front desk, ultra-clean rooms and wifi, but a bunch of (mixed) dorm style cabins run and maintained by a sincere, attentive woman. The cabin I was in... Cabins in need of total renevation. Shower warm, kitchen tiny and not very clean but just about useable. Manager never around. I'm sure better can be found.

“Cabins are smaller but comfy (6 bunks per) However, why would you want to stay inside while in P-Town./ Cabins have a nice camp feel to them/ Cheap enough to pay an extra night so you don't have to check out in the morning.”
